Sumber daya manusia sangat penting bagi kemajuan sebuah perusahaan atau organisasi serta mencapai tujuan, termasuk di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan hubungan motivasi kerja dengan kinerja guru di SMK Negeri X Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan data numerik yang dianalisis menggunakan statistik. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan sampel sebanyak 30 dengan korelasi sebesar 0,500 (**), menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara kedua variabel (sig. 2-tailed = 0,004 < α = 0,05). Nilai korelasi 0,500 termasuk dalam kategori sedang (0,40 – 0,599), menunjukkan hubungan yang moderat antara motivasi kerja dan kinerja guru.
Human resources are a critical aspect for the progress and development of a company or organization. They play a crucial role in enhancing the success and achievement of goals within the company, organization, or school. The objective of this research is to describe the relationship between work motivation and teacher performance at SMK Negeri X Surabaya. This study employs a quantitative research approach using numerical data processed through statistical methods. Based on the correlation calculation output, N indicates the number of observations or samples totaling 30, with a correlation coefficient of 0.500 (**). The magnitude of the correlation between the two variables is 0.500, indicating a moderate level of correlation. Furthermore, the two-tailed significance value (sig.) is 0.004, which is less than the critical threshold of α = 0.05, suggesting a significant relationship between the variables (0.004 < 0.05). The value of 0.500 falls within the range of 0.40 – 0.599, categorizing it as moderate, indicating that the correlation is neither weak nor strong.
