Comparison of Problem Based Conventional Learning (PBCL) with Creative Problem Based Learning (CPBL) on Self Regulated Learning on Economic Material
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan antara model pembelajaran Problem Based Conventional Learning (PBCL) dengan Creative Problem Based Learning (CPBL) terhadap self regulated learning pada materi ekonomi. PBCL merupakan model pembajaran konvensional dikombinasikan dengan Problem Based Learning, yang menekankan pada penyelesaian masalah dengan pendekatan konvensional sedangkan CPBL merupakan model pembelajaran yang di dalamnya terdapat unsur kreativitas yang menekankan pada penggunaan kreativitas dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain Non Equivalent Control Group. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI 5 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI 7 sebagai kelas eksperimen di SMA Khadijah Surabaya. Instrumen yang diguankan pada peneltian ini meliputi soal pretest posttest ekonomi dan kuesioner self regulated learning. Data pada penelitian ini diuji dengan menggunakan bantuan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan pemahaman ekonomi dan keterampilan SRL siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran PBCL dan CPBL. Kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran CPBL memiliki pemahaman ekonomi dan keterampilan self regulated learning lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran CPBL memiliki pengaruh dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi ekonomi dan keterampilan self regulated learning siswa.

This research aims to compare the Problem Based Conventional Learning (PBCL) learning model with Creative Problem Based Learning (CPBL) against self-regulated learning on economic material. PBCL is a conventional learning model combined with Problem Based Learning, which emphasizes solving problems using a conventional approach, while CPBL is a learning model in which there are elements of creativity that emphasize the use of creativity in solving problems. This research is a type of Quasi Experimental research with a Non Equivalent Control Group design. The subjects of this research were students in class XI 5 as the control class and XI 7 as the experimental class at SMA Khadijah Surabaya. The instruments used in this research include economic pretest posttest questions and self-regulated learning questionnaires. The data in this study was tested using SPSS software. The research results show that there are significant differences in the economic understanding and SRL skills of students who use the PBCL and CPBL learning models. The experimental class that uses the CPBL learning model has a higher understanding of economics and self-regulated learning skills than the control class. This shows that the CPBL learning model has an influence in increasing students' understanding of economic material and students' self-regulated learning skills.
