THE EFFECT OF SCHOOL FIELD INTRODUCTION AND INTEREST IN STUDENT’S READINESS TO BECOME TEACHERS
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP) dan minat terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa menjadi guru. Subyek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan yang ada di Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Surabaya yang terdiri dari empat prodi yaitu Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi, Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran, Pendidikan Akuntansi dan Pendidikan Tata Niaga. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu uji coba instrumen menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas dan uji hipotesis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel bebas yaitu PLP dan minat berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel terikat yaitu kesiapan mahasiswa menjadi guru. Sedangkan secara parsial, kedua variabel bebas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel terikat.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Introduction to Schooling Field (PLP) and interest in the readiness of students to become teachers. The subjects used in this study were students of the education study program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Surabaya, which consisted of four study programs namely Economics Education Study Program, Office Administration Education, Accounting Educat,ion and Commerce Education. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The analytical method used is instrument testing using validity and reliability tests and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression. The results showed that simultaneously the independent variables, namely, PLP and interest, had a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable, namely the readiness of students to become teachers. While partially, the two independent variables have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable.
