The Influence of Using YouTube Tutorial Video Media on the Writing Skills of Procedure Text for Class IV Elementary School Students

This research is motivated by students' problems when they practice writing procedural texts. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Youtube video tutorial media on the writing skills of procedural texts for fourth grade students at SDN Grobogan II. The research was an experimental study with 18 fourth grade students at SDN Grobogan II as the experimental class and 10 fourth grade students at SDN Mojotengah 1 as the control class as the subject. The data collection technique used is the test technique. The results of the study explained that there was an effect of using YouTube video tutorial media on the writing skills of procedure texts for fourth grade elementary school students. Evidenced by the results of the Paired Sample Test hypothesis. in the class that uses YouTube video tutorial media, the t-stat value is -18.265 with the p-value for the 2-way test being <0.001 (smaller than 0.05).
