ELEMEN TEKSTUAL PADA BERITA NORMALISASI HUBUNGAN ISRAEL DAN UNI EMIRAT ARAB YANG DIPUBLIKASIKAN OLEH KOMPAS

TEXTUAL ELEMENTS IN THE NEWS OF THE TIES NORMALIZATION BETWEEN ISRAEL AND THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES PUBLISHED BY KOMPAS 

Publikasi berita bertujuan untuk menyampaikan informasi kepada khalayak massa secara aktual dan faktual, namun hal tersebut tidak bisa dilepaskan dari kepentingan-kepentingan yang melatarbelakangi media massa terkait. Salah satunya adalah teks berita Normalisasi Hubungan Israel dan UEA yang dipublikasikan oleh portal berita daring Kompas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemberian kosakata dalam teks judul dan isi berita serta pembentukan kalimat dalam berita Normalisasi Hubungan Israel dan UEA yang diberitakan oleh Kompas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif kritis yang berdasarkan pada tiga kerangka analisis Fairclough, yaitu analisis deskriptif, interpretatif, dan eksplanasi. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan simak. Teknik yang digunakan yaitu simak bebas dan catat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 12 judul berita Kompas, ditemukan nilai pengalaman dan ekspresif pada kosakata pada teks judul dan isi berita yang membentuk pola klasifikasi berupa perdamaian dan normalisasi serta pertarungan ideologi antara Zionisme dan Anti Zionisme. Ditemukan pula tiga cara Kompas untuk mengaburkan identitas aktor pada kalimat berita, yaitu kalimat aktif yang ditampakkan sebagai tindakan, tetapi tidak menampakkan aktor berupa makhluk hidup, kalimat aktif yang ditampakkan sebagai tindakan, tetapi menampakkan aktor berupa makhluk hidup yang tidak jelas identitasnya, dan kalimat pasif yang ditampakkan sebagai peristiwa dan tidak menampakkan aktor berupa makhluk hidup.

News publications aim to convey actual and factual information to mass audiences, but news publications cannot be excluded from the underlying interests of the related mass media. One of them is the news of the Ties Normalization between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) published by Kompas through its online news portal. This study aimed to describe the provision of vocabulary in the text of the title and content of the news as well as the formation of sentences in the news of the Ties Normalization between Israel and the UAE as reported by Kompas. The research method used was a critical qualitative method based on Faiclough's analytical framework, namely descriptive, interpretative and explanatory analysis. The method of data collection was done by observing. The techniques used was the free reading and the note-taking technique. The results of this study indicated that of the 12 news titles used as data sources, it was found that there are experiential and expressive values in the vocabulary of both the heading and news content texts that form a classification scheme in the form of peace and normalization as well as ideological struggles between Zionism and Anti-Zionism. There were also three ways that Kompas did to obscure the identity of actors in news sentences, namely there was one active sentence which was shown as a process in the form of action, but did not show the actor in the form of animate actor, one active sentence which was shown as a process in the form of action, but the actor in the form of an animate actor that did not clearly show the identity of the actor and four passive sentences which were shown as events and did not show the animate actors.
