PENGARUH CAREER DECISION SELF EFFICACY DAN PEER SUPPORT TERHADAP CAREER ADAPTABILITY SISWA KELAS XII SMK NEGERI 1 SIDOARJO
THE INFLUENCE OF CAREER DECISION SELF EFFICACY AND PEER SUPPORT ON CAREER ADAPTABILITY OF CLASS XII STUDENTS SMK NEGERI 1 SIDOARJO
Selama masa sekolah, siswa sering mengalami fase pengambilan keputusan karir yang ditandai dengan upaya untuk menggabungkan beberapa aspek seperti minat, kemampuan, waktu, dan lingkungan. Pada kenyataannya, para siswa kurang memiliki keyakinan yang cukup tentang keempat aspek kematangan tersebut, dimana kondisi ini membuat lulusan sekolah kejuruan mengalami kebingungan dalam menentukan karir sehingga mempengaruhi kemampuan adaptasi karir siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara career decision self efficacy dan peer support terhadap career adaptability pada siswa kejuruan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif non eskperimen dengan jenis penelitian survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo, sedangkan sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII jurusan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik (N=70). Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan regresi berganda dengan berbantuan software SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa career decision self efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap career adaptability (p = 0,000), peer support berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap career adaptability (p = 0,013). Secara bersama-sama (simultan) career decision self efficacy dan peer support berpengaruh signifikan terhadap career adaptability (p = 0,000). Pengaruh variabel career decision self efficacy terhadap career adaptability sebesar 60,8%, pengaruh variabel peer support terhadap career adaptability sebesar 17,3%, sedangkan sisanya 21,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti oleh peneliti. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pentingnya career decision self efficacy dan peer support untuk meningkatkan career adaptability siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya peran guru sebagai pendidik dalam melakukan upaya untuk meningkatkan aspek-aspek pada diri siswa. Guru diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan siswa melalui pelatihan atau seminar yang berkaitan dengan adaptasi karir agar siswa memiliki kemampuan adaptasi karir yang tinggi.

During school, students often experience a career decision making phase characterized by efforts to combine several aspects such as interests, abilities, time, and environment. In reality, students do not have sufficient confidence about these four aspects of maturity, where this condition makes vocational school graduates experience confusion in choosing a career, thereby affecting students' career adaptability..This study aims to analyze the relationship between career decision self efficacy and peer support to career adaptability among vocational students. This research uses a non-experimental quantitative approach with a survey research design. The population in this study were all students at Vocational School of 1 Sidoarjo , while the sample for this research is Electrical Power Installation Engineering students of class XII (N=70). This research uses questionnaire data collection techniques. Data analysis in this study used multiple regression with SPSS version 26 software. The research results show that career decision self efficacy has a positive and significant effect on career adaptability (p = 0,000), peer support has a positive and significant effect on career adaptability (p = 0,013). Together (simultant) career decision self-efficacy and peer support have a significant effect on career adaptability (p = 0,000). The effect of variable career decision self efficacy on career adaptability is 60,8%, the effect of variable peer support on career adaptability is 17,3%, while the remaining 21,9% is caused by other factors not examined by researchers. This research confirms the importance of career decision self-efficacy and peer support to increase students' career adaptability. The implication of this research is the importantce of the teacher’s role as an educator in making effort to improve aspects of the student’s self. Theachers are expected to broaden students insight through training or seminars related to career adaptation so that students have hight career adaptabilities.
