PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA AJAR PUZZLE SUSUN MOJIMOCHI SEBAGAI ALAT BANTU PEMBELAJARAN KOSAKATA BAHASA JEPANG PADA SISWA KELAS XI-12 SMAN 1 PURI MOJOKERTO
DEVELOPMENT OF MOJIMOCHI PUZZLE TEACHING MEDIA AS A LEARNING TOOL FOR JAPANESE VOCABULARY FOR STUDENTS IN CLASSES XI-12 AT SMAN 1 PURI MOJOKERTO
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa dalam menghafal kosakata Bahasa Jepang di SMAN 1 Puri Mojokerto. Berdasarkan keterangan guru, siswa memiliki antusiasme belajar yang baik, namun masih mengalami kendala dalam penguasaan kosakata. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media ajar Puzzle Susun MOJIMOCHI yang valid, praktis, dan menarik.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan, yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek uji coba adalah siswa kelas XI-12 SMAN 1 Puri Mojokerto yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, angket validasi ahli, dan angket respon siswa.
Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media Puzzle Susun MOJIMOCHI dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh persentase 100% dengan kriteria "Sangat Baik", dan ahli media memperoleh persentase 94,44% dengan kriteria "Sangat Baik". Selain itu, hasil uji coba terbatas menunjukkan respon positif dari siswa dengan persentase sebesar 89,52% yang termasuk dalam kriteria "Sangat Setuju". Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media ajar Puzzle Susun MOJIMOCHI layak digunakan sebagai media pendukung untuk meningkatkan ketertarikan dan mempermudah siswa dalam memahami kosakata bahasa Jepang.

This study was motivated by students’ difficulties in memorizing Japanese vocabulary at SMAN 1 Puri Mojokerto. Based on the teacher’s explanation, students show good learning enthusiasm; however, they still experience obstacles in mastering vocabulary. Therefore, this study aims to develop the MOJIMOCHI Assembly Puzzle learning media that is valid, practical, and engaging.
This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the trial were students of class XI-12 at SMAN 1 Puri Mojokerto, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through interviews, observations, expert validation questionnaires, and student response questionnaires.
The validation results indicate that the MOJIMOCHI Assembly Puzzle learning media is highly feasible for use. The material expert validation achieved a percentage score of 100% with a “Very Good” criterion, while the media expert validation reached 94.44%, also categorized as “Very Good.” In addition, the limited trial results showed positive student responses with a percentage of 89.52%, which falls into the “Strongly Agree” category. Based on these results, the MOJIMOCHI Assembly Puzzle learning media is appropriate to be used as a supporting learning medium to increase students’ interest and facilitate their understanding of Japanese vocabulary.
