TRANSFORMATION OF STAGE THEATER TO VIDEOGRAPHY THEATER

Pandemi Covid 19 merupakan cikal bakal lahirnya era new normal yang merekonstruksi pola serta tatanan hidup masyarakat Indonesia. Skenario untuk mempercepat penanganan pandemi Covid 19 ini tentunya telah melalui berbagai macam pertimbangan dalam implementasinya. Namun hal tersebut tentu berdampak bagi segala aspek kehidupan. Dampak pada aspek kesenian, dalam hal ini kesenian teater, menjadikan pertunjukan secara langsung mengalami keterbatasan, khususnya dalam hal interaksi sosial. Sehingga, karena hal ini berbanding terbalik dengan kebutuhan ekspresi para pelaku seni teater, maka dibutuhkan suatu alternatif, yakni penyajiannya harus melalui bantuan teknologi media virtual. Dalam tekanan kondisi inilah yang kemudian melahirkan inovasi, yakni videografi teater. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk memperoleh gambaran yang menyeluruh terhadap pokok permasalahan, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumen berupa video pertunjukan serta literatur yang sesuai dengan tema kajian. Analisis data dilakukan untuk memunculkan fakta-fakta yang dapat memberikan pandangan lebih spesifik mengenai problematika yang akan di bahas. Kajian pada tulisan ini berfokus pada transformasi teater panggung ke videografi teater. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses transformasi teater panggung ke videografi teater, serta hasil transformasi teater panggung ke videografi teater. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah, berupa kajian estetika bentuk videografi teater. Yang mana videografi teater menjadi solusi alternatif dan trend saat ini sebagai aktualisasi diri yang bisa diunggah di sosial media. Transformasi teater panggung ke videografi teater terletak pada aspek penyajian pertunjukan kepada penikmatnya yang dijabarkan melalui unsur estetik yang melekat dan menjadi ciri dari bentuk tersebut.  

The Covid 19 pandemic is the forerunner of the birth of era new normal that reconstructs the pattern and order of life of the Indonesian people. The scenario for accelerating the handling of the Covid 19 pandemic has certainly gone through various considerations in its implementation. But it certainly has an impact on all aspects of life. The impact on the artistic aspect, in this case the theatrical art, makes direct performances experience limitations, especially in terms of social interaction. So, because this is inversely proportional to the needs of artistic expression theater, an alternative is needed, namely the presentation must be through the help of virtual media technology. Under the pressure of this condition which then gave birth to innovation, namely theatrical videography. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to obtain a comprehensive picture of the subject matter, with data collection techniques using document studies in the form of video performances and literature in accordance with the theme of the study. Data analysis is carried out to bring up facts that can provide a more specific view of the problems that will be discussed. The study in this paper focuses on the transformation of stage theater into theater videography. This study aims to describe the transformation process of stage theater into theater videography, as well as the results of the transformation of stage theater into theater videography. The results of this study are in the form of aesthetic studies in the form of theater videography. Where theater videography is an alternative solution and the trend current as self actualization that can be uploaded on social media. The transformation of stage theater to theater videography lies in the aspect of presenting the show to the audience which is described through the inherent aesthetic elements that characterize the form.
