STUDI LITERATUR PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN
STUDY OF LITERATURE APPLICATION OF THE LEARNING MODEL JIGSAW TYPE COOPERATIVE IN VOCATIONAL SCHOOL
Mata pelajaran dasar di SMK merupakan mata pelajaran yang berisi tentang teori ilmu dasar mesin, maka diperlukan perlakuan dan metode yang menarik untuk menumbuhkan semangat belajar dan keaktifan siswa guna mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal. Sehingga perlu adanya model pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan peran siswa yang dapat aktif dalam pembelajaran agar siswa tidak merasa jenuh dan mampu mengikuti materi pelajaran dengan baik. Artikel ini bertujuan (1) mengkaji penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berdasarkan efektifitas hasil belajar (2) mengkaji respon siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pengamatan, serta refleksi. Pada mata pelajaran dasar di SMK menggunakan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw mampu meningkatkan 85% rata-rata hasil belajar siswa SMK dibandingkan dengan metode klasikal. Pada pembelajaran dasar di SMK menggunakan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw mampu meningkatkan 85% rata-rata respon positif siswa SMK saat mengikuti pembelajaran dibandingkan dengan metode klasikal. Sehingga penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dapat diterapkan di mata pelajaran dasar di SMK.

The basic subjects in Vocational High School are subjects that contain the theory of basic mechanical science, so interesting treatments and methods are needed to foster the spirit of learning and student activity in order to get maximum results. So it is necessary to have a learning model that is able to increase the role of students who can be active in learning so that students do not feel bored and are able to follow the subject matter well. This article aims to (1) examine the application of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model based on the effectiveness of learning outcomes (2) examine student responses after the jigsaw type cooperative learning model is applied. Some research results show that learning with the jigsaw type of cooperative learning model is applied in several cycles with the stages of planning, implementing and observing, as well as reflecting. In basic subjects in SMK using the jigsaw type cooperative learning method, it is able to increase 85% of the average student learning outcomes of SMK compared to the classical method. In basic learning in SMK using the jigsaw type cooperative learning method, it is able to increase 85% of the average positive response of SMK students when taking lessons compared to the classical method. So that the application of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model can be applied in basic subjects in SMK.
