The Effectiveness of the Cooperative Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Vocational Students

Model pembelajaran dasarnya adalah suatu pembelajaran yang dijelaskan dari awal hingga akhir dan diberikan secara khusus oleh guru. Dengan arti lain, model pembelajaran merupakan kerangka yang melingkupi pendekatan, penerapan, teknik pembelajaran, dan metode. Model pembelajaran sebaiknya disesuaikan terhadap materi pembelajaran yang disampaikan kepada siswa serta dengan kondisi kelas sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan kompetensi peserta didik. Model pembelajaran kooperatif dapat menjadi salah satu cara dalam menyampaikan suatu materi karena karena pembelajaran kooperatif memiliki struktur atau tugas kolaboratif yang memungkinkan terjadi interaksi terbuka serta adanya hubungan yang terjadi secara terus-menerus antar anggota kelompok. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan sebagai berikut: (1) mengungkap informasi efektivitas model pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi siswa pada pelajaran instalasi penerangan listrik, dan (2) mengungkap informasi mengenai model pembelajaran yang memiliki nilai efektivitas tertinggi dan terendah. Metode yang digunakan adalah meta-analisis unstandardized mean difference independent groups dengan mengambil data dari 10 rujukan artikel model pembelajaran kooperatif berbeda untuk dianalisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata keseluruhan model pembelajaran kooperatif sebesar 13,13 dengan kategori effect size besar. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe auditory intelectual repitition memiliki nilai rata-rata effect size paling rendah yaitu 1,00 dengan kategori effect size besar, sedangkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw memiliki nilai rata-rata effect size paling tinggi yaitu 44,00 dengan kategori effect size besar, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran menunjukkan efektivitas terhadap kompetensi siswa Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Hasil Belajar Siswa SMK.

The basic learning model is a learning that is explained from beginning to end and given specifically by the teacher. In other words, the learning model is a framework that includes approaches, applications, learning techniques, and methods. The learning model should be adapted to the learning material presented to students and to class conditions so that it can increase the motivation and competence of students. The cooperative learning model can be one way of delivering material because cooperative learning has a collaborative structure or task that allows open interactions and relationships that occur continuously between group members. This study has the following objectives: (1) to reveal information on the effectiveness of the learning model on student competence in electric lighting installation lessons, and (2) to reveal information about the learning model that has the highest and lowest effectiveness scores. The method that used is meta-analysis of unstandardized mean difference independent groups by taking data from 10 references to articles on different cooperative learning models for analysis. The results showed that the overall average value of the cooperative learning model was 13.13 with a large effect size category. The auditory intellectual repetition type of cooperative learning model has the lowest average effect size value of 1.00 with a large effect size category, while the jigsaw type of cooperative learning has the highest average effect size value of 44.00 with a large effect size category, it can be concluded that the learning model shows the effectiveness of students competence in the subject of electric lighting installations.
