PENERAPAN RAGAM HIAS PADA MEDIA ALUMINIUM UNTUK SISWA KELAS VII-B SMP WACHID HASJIM 5 SURABAYA

Wabah Covid-19 menyebabkan terhentinya banyak kegiatan salah satunya di sektor pendidikan. Meskipun kegiatan tatap muka secara langsung dihentikan, kegiatan belajar mengajar tetap berjalan melalui daring. Seiring berjalannya waktu, SMP Wachid Hasjim 5 Surabaya tetap melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar melalui daring dan luring secara bersamaan. Perubahan kegiatan tatap muka yang dilaksanakan secara daring mempengaruhi penyampaian materi sekaligus praktek. Pemilihan media melalui pertimbangan dari guru dan peneliti karena penggunaan aluminium seperti kaleng bekas minuman yang dibeli siswa di kantin sekolah agar tidak terbuang sia-sia dan dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi benda menarik. Sebagai guru seni menggunakan berbagai cara agar pembelajaran yang disampaikan kepada siswa berhasil.
Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran dan memaparkan hasil penerapan ragam hias dengan media aluminium yang dilakukan oleh siswa kelas VII SMP Wachid Hasyim 5 Surabaya secara daring dan luring, serta mendeskripsikan tanggapan siswa kelas VII SMP wachid Hasyim 5 Surabaya terhadap pembelajaran penerapan ragam hias dengan media aluminium.
Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas VII-B SMP Wachid Hasjim 5 Surabaya. Penelitian dilakukan di semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Sumber data dokumen dari RPP semester ganjil mata pelajaran seni budaya pada bidang seni rupa kelas VII yang ada di SMP Wachid Hasjim 5 Surabaya. Data penelitian berupa hasil pengamatan, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Teknik validitas data menggunakan triangulasi data untuk pengecekan kembali hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang diperoleh mengenai pembelajaran berkarya ragam hias pada kaleng dan hasil karya siswa.
Hasil penelitian ini yaitu pada proses pembelajaran siswa dapat menyelesaikan sketsa ragam hias dengan baik dan sesuai arahan. Ketika melakukan proses pembelajaran daring, guru dan peneliti memantau capaian siswa dalam berkarya. Pada proses berkarya siswa dapat melakukan langkah-langkah yang sudah diajarkan, seperti menyiapkan alat dan bahan, lalu memberikan penjelasan ragam hias yang dibuat. Tanggapan guru dan siswa tentang penerapan ragam hias dengan media aluminium merupakan hal baru membuat karya dalam bentuk pigura yang pembuatannya menggunakan teknik tekan untuk membuat motif ragam hias di atas aluminium.
Simpulan pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa dapat mengikuti proses pembalajaran sketsa ragam hias dengan baik dan sesuai arahan, baik secara daring maupun luring. Kemudian siswa sangat antusias dalam membuat karya serta dapat menjelaskan proses pembuatan ragam hias menggunakan media aluminium. Berdasarkan tanggapan siswad dan guru, pembelajaran penerapan ragam hias pada media alumunium memberikan pengalaman baru bagi siswa dan meningkatkan inovasi dan antusisas siswa untuk berkarya.

The impact of the Covid-19 outbreak has caused a halt in activities in the education sector. Even though face-to-face activities are stopped, teaching and learning activities are still running online. The occurrence of a pandemic in the last year has had a significant impact on the world of education. As time goes by, SMP Wachid Hasjim 5 Surabaya continues to carry out teaching and learning activities simultaneously online and offline. Changes in face-to-face activities that are carried out online affect the delivery of material as well as practice. The choice of media is based on the consideration of teachers and researchers because the use of aluminum, such as used drink cans that students buy in the school canteen, is not wasted and can be used as an interesting object. As an art teacher, we use various ways so that the learning delivered to students is successful.
Based on the existing background, the researcher aims to describe the learning process and explain the results of the application of decoration with aluminum media carried out by class VII students of SMP Wachid Hasyim 5 Surabaya online and offline, as well as describe the responses of class VII students of SMP Wachid Hasyim 5 Surabaya to application learning. decoration with aluminum media.
This research is a type of qualitative research, with the research subjects being class VII-B students of SMP Wachid Hasjim 5 Surabaya. The research was conducted in an odd semester in August for the 2020/2021 academic year. Document data source from odd semester RPP for arts and culture subject in class VII fine arts at Wachid Hasjim 5 Middle School Surabaya. Research data in the form of observations, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The data collection technique uses data triangulation to re-check the results of observations, interviews and documentation obtained regarding learning to work with ornaments on cans and student work.
The results of the research in this study are that in the learning process, students can complete decorative sketches properly and according to directions. When carrying out the online learning process, teachers and researchers monitor the extent to which students achieve in their work. In the creative process, students can carry out the steps that have been taught, such as preparing tools and materials, then providing an explanation of the decorations made. The responses of teachers and students about the application of decorative motifs using aluminum media is a new thing in making works in the form of frames that are made using a press technique to make decorative motifs on aluminum.
The conclusion of this study is that students can take part in the learning process of decorative sketches properly and according to directions, both online and offline. Then the students were very enthusiastic about making works and being able to explain the process of making decorations using aluminum media and based on the responses of students and teachers, learning to apply decoration on aluminum media provided new experiences for students and increased student innovation and enthusiasm for work.
