Feasibility Analysis of the Teaching Factory Practice Room in Fashion Design Program at SMK Negeri 1 Turen
Teaching factory adalah kegiatan pembelajaran yang sarana prasarana ruang praktiknya memenuhi kriteria standar industri untuk menghasilkan lulusan berkompeten sesuai kebutuhan dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) mendeskripsikan teaching factory tata busana SMK Negeri 1 Turen meliputi ruang praktik, layout, peralatan, pengelolaan penggunaan ruang dan alat, MRC, dan K3; 2) mengetahui kelayakan teaching factory tata busana SMK Negeri 1 Turen meliputi ruang praktik, layout, peralatan, pengelolaan penggunaan ruang dan alat, MRC, dan K3. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa: 1) ruang praktik telah dikondisikan seperti dunia industri dengan memperhatikan aspek K3, layout ruangan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan produksi diatur dan dilaksanakan sebagaimana seperti di dunia industri, peralatan yang tersedia sudah sesuai standar industri, inventarisasi telah dilaksanakan secara konsisten, belum ada SOP hanya terdapat peraturan umum penggunaan ruang dan alat yang ditempel pada dinding ruang praktik, peserta didik dan guru saling bekerjasama dalam kegiatan MRC, pemanggilan teknisi dilakukan setiap satu bulan sekali, saat kegiatan praktik peserta didik menggunakan alat pelindung diri berupa celemek jahit dan sepatu serta melaksanakan kegiatan dengan mematuhi peraturan yang berlaku, pada ruang praktik tidak terdapat rambu K3; 2) hasil persentase setiap aspek yaitu aspek ruang praktik 90%, aspek layout 87,5%, aspek peralatan 87,5%, aspek pengelolaan penggunaan ruang dan alat 87,5%, aspek MRC 92,5%, dan aspek K3 80% sehingga rata-rata hasil persentase kelayakan ruang praktik teaching factory tata busana SMK Negeri 1 Turen dalam enam aspek adalah 87,5% dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak.
Teaching factory is a learning activity whose practical room infrastructure meets industry standard criteria to produce competent graduates according to the needs of the world of work. This study aims to: 1) describe the teaching factory of fashion at SMK Negeri 1 Turen covering the practice room, layout, equipment, management of the use of space and tools, MRC, and K3; 2) determine the feasibility of the teaching factory fashion at SMK Negeri 1 Turen covering the practice room, layout, equipment, management of the use of space and tools, MRC, and K3. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. Data collection techniques using observation and questionnaires. The results of the study stated that: 1) the practice room has been conditioned like the industrial world by paying attention to the K3 aspect, the layout of the room and the implementation of production activities are arranged and carried out as in the industrial world, the available equipment is in accordance with industry standards, the inventory has been carried out consistently, there is no the SOP only contains general regulations for the use of space and tools that are affixed to the walls of the practice room, students and teachers cooperate with each other in MRC activities, the calling of technicians is carried out once a month, during practical activities students use personal protective equipment in the form of sewing aprons and shoes and carry out activities by complying with applicable regulations, in the practice room there are no K3 signs; 2) the percentage results for each aspect are 90% practical room aspect, 87.5% layout aspect, 87.5% equipment aspect, 87.5% space and equipment use management aspect, 92.5% MRC aspect, and 80% of K3 aspect so that the average percentage result of the feasibility of the fashion teaching factory practice room at SMK Negeri 1 Turen in six aspects is 87.5% and is included in the very feasible category.
