UTILIZATION OF RECYCLED ASPHALT TO MAKE NEW AC-BC LASTON BASED ON 2018 AND 2019 BUILDING SPECIFICATIONS
The method of recycling using RAP is one of the ways in rehabilitation activities. The advantage of RAP utilization is to reduce the accumulation of material and reduce the use of natural resources. In this study, the effect of the use of RAP (Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement) as the addition of aggregate mixtures in the manufacture of AC-BC laston by using rock ash filler as a mixture, to the characteristics of Marshall based on General Specifications of the Bina Marga Division 6 2018 and Special Specifications for Interim Community Development Marga 2019. The research method used is quantitative descriptive analysis. Percentage variation of asphalt content used in the manufacture of test specimens is 2.5%, 3%, 3.5%, 4%, 4.5%, 5%, 5.5%, 6%, 6.5% of the total weight of the mixture. The results of the Marshall test show that the optimum asphalt content resulting from the use of RAP 25% in a mixture of variation C composition 2, are 6.00% asphalt content which gives a stability value of 1721.7 Kg, Flow value of 3.87 mm, VIM value of 4.44%, VMA value of 18.31% , VFA value of 75.76% and MQ 446.0 kg / mm, the value is considered to be better because it provides a mixture that is very elastic but remains stable so that this mixture is still above the minimum limit of 2018 Bina Marga Specifications and 2019 Bina Marga Specifications.
