Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media Virtual Reality (VR) terintegrasi budaya lokal yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar materi keberagaman siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Cemengkalang Sidoarjo yang berjumlah 20 siswa untuk uji coba luas. Media VR yang dikembangkan berupa video 360 derajat berdurasi 3-5 menit yang menampilkan budaya lokal Sidoarjo, khususnya tradisi Pacul Gowang, dilengkapi narasi audio edukatif dan diakses menggunakan Shinecon 6.0 VR Box. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media VR terintegrasi budaya lokal memenuhi kriteria sangat valid berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi (88%) dan ahli media (90,75%). Media ini juga sangat praktis berdasarkan respon siswa pada uji coba terbatas (95,6%) dan uji coba luas (94,6%). Keefektifan media terbukti melalui peningkatan hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen dari rata-rata 76% menjadi 85,5% dengan N-gain 0,4 (kategori sedang), sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya meningkat dari 71,25% menjadi 73,75% dengan N-gain 0,08 (kategori rendah). Uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan (p=0,000<0,05) antara kedua kelompok. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media VR terintegrasi budaya lokal layak digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran inovatif pada materi keberagaman di sekolah dasar karena mampu memberikan pengalaman belajar imersif, meningkatkan motivasi, dan memperkuat pemahaman siswa terhadap keberagaman budaya lokal.

This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective Virtual Reality (VR) media integrated with local culture to improve learning outcomes of diversity material for fourth grade elementary school students. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were 20 fourth-grade students at Cemengkalang Sidoarjo Public Elementary School for extensive testing. The VR media developed was a 3-5 minute 360-degree video featuring the local culture of Sidoarjo, specifically the Pacul Gowang tradition, accompanied by educational audio narration and accessed using Shinecon 6.0 VR Box. The results showed that the VR media integrated with local culture met the criteria of being highly valid based on the assessments of subject matter experts (88%) and media experts (90.75%). This media was also very practical based on student responses in the limited trial (95.6%) and large-scale trial (94.6%). The effectiveness of the media was proven through an increase in the learning outcomes of the experimental group from an average of 76% to 85.5% with an N-gain of 0.4 (medium category), while the control group only increased from 71.25% to 73.75% with an N-gain of 0.08 (low category). The paired sample t-test showed a significant difference (p=0.000<0.05) between the two groups. This study concludes that VR media integrated with local culture is suitable for use as an alternative innovative learning medium for teaching diversity in elementary schools because it provides an immersive learning experience, increases motivation, and strengthens students' understanding of local cultural diversity.
