Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKS berstrategi PQ4R dan mendeskripsikan kelayakan LKS berstrategi PQ4R ditinjau dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model penelitian 4D namun tahap disseminate tidak dilakukan. Subjek dari penelitian ini terdiri dari 36 siswa kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 29 Surabaya. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi teknik validasi, observasi, angket, dan tes. Teknik validasi meliputi lembar validasi LKS. Teknik observasi meliputi lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Teknik angket meliputi lembar angket respon siswa. Teknik tes meliputi soal pretest dan posttest siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kevalidan LKS berstrategi PQ4R sebesar 94,44% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Kepraktisan diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan angket respon siswa. Pada keterlaksaan pembelajaran didapatkan rata-rata 92,95% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan respon siswa sebesar 97% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Keefektifan diperoleh berdasarkan peningkatan pemahaman konsep yang memperoleh Ngain sebesar 0,77 dengan kategori tinggi.
The purpose of this research is to produce student worksheet with PQ4R strategy and descibe the feasibility of a student worksheet with PQ4R strategy in terms of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The type of research is a development research with 4D model but Disseminate stage is not carried out. The subjects of this study consisted of 36 students of class VIIIB SMP Negeri 29 Surabaya. Data collection techniques using validation techniques, observation, questionnaire, and test. The validation techniques include validation sheet of student worksheet. Observation techniques include learning implementation sheets. Questionnaire techniques include student response questionnaires. Test techniques include the student's pretest and posttest sheets. The results of this study indicate the validity of the student worksheet with with PQ4R strategy was 94,44% with very feasible criteria. Practicality is obtained from the results of observations of the implementation of learning and student response questionnaires. In the implementation of learning obtained an average of 92,95% with a very good criteria and the responses of students was 97% with a very good criteria. Effectiveness is obtained based on improvement of concept understanding obtain Ngain score was 0,77 with the high category.
