Daging ayam mempunyai banyak nutrisi yang dapat mencukupi kebutuhan gizi  pada  manusia.  Salah satu cara yang  ditempuh  untuk  mencegah  kerusakan pada daging ayam yaitu dengan pengolahan  menjadi produk nugget. Olahan daging  ayam  menjadi  nugget dapat meningkatkan masa simpan pada daging ayam itu sendiri. Peminat nugget di Indonesia sangatlah banyak maka perlu diadakan inovasi dari pembuatan nugget yaitu dengan mengganti oatmeal sebagai coating agar produk yang dihasilkan memiliki nilai gizi yang lebih baik. Tujuan uji coba adalah untuk membuat nugget serta ditulis dalam bentuk artikel ilmiah dengan mengetahui: 1) Resep Standart dari pembuatan nugget; 2) Uji kesukaan hedonik terhadap hasil jadi nugget  meliputi warna, aroma, rasa dan tekstur, 3) Harga jual nugget per resep yang telah dikemas dan  siap dipasarkan. . Dengan  hasil penelitian 80% respon panelis menyatakan suka dengan warna nugget, 93% respon panelis menyatakan suka  dengan aroma nugget, 91% respon panelis menyatakan  suka dengan rasa nugget, 91% respon panelis  menyatakan sangat suka dengan tekstur nugget. Harga jual nugget oatmeal adalah Rp. 47.000,- per resep.

Chicken meat has many nutrients that can meet the nutritional needs of humans. One way to prevent damage to chicken meat is by processing it into nuggets. Processed chicken meat into nuggets can increase the shelf life of the chicken itself. There are so many nugget enthusiasts in Indonesia, it is necessary to innovate from making nuggets, namely by replacing oatmeal as a coating so that the resulting product has better nutritional value. The purpose of the trial is to make nuggets and write them in the form of scientific articles by knowing: 1) Standard Recipes from making nuggets; 2) The hedonic preference test for the finished nuggets includes color, aroma, taste and texture, 3) The selling price of nuggets per recipe that has been packaged and ready to be marketed. . With the results of the study, 80% of panelists' responses stated that they liked the color of nuggets, 93% of panelists' responses said they liked the smell of nuggets, 91% of panelists' responses stated that they liked the taste of nuggets, 91% of panelists' responses stated that they really liked the texture of nuggets. The selling price of oatmeal nuggets is Rp. 47,000, - per recipe.
