Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan pemerintah Indonesia untuk meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat adalah dengan mendorong Badan Usaha Milik Desa atau BUM Desa untuk bergerak. Desa Tanjungharjo memiliki BUM Desa dengan nama Tanjungkarya. Dalam pelaksanaannya ditemui kendala berupa kurangnya sumber daya finansial, kurangnya sumber daya manusia, kurangnya sarana dan prasarana dan kurangnya pengelolaan program/usaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Strategi Pengelolaan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUM Desa) untuk mengembangkan Ekonomi Masyarakat di Desa Tanjungharjo Kecamatan Kapas Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Informan Kepala Desa Tanjungharjo, Sekretaris Desa Tanjungharjo, Ketua BUM Desa Tanjung Karya, Sekretaris BUM Desa Tanjung Karya, Bendahara BUM Desa Tanjung Karya, dan Masyarakat, Desa Tanjungharjo. Data didapatkan dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan cara mereduksi data, penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Fokus penelitian menggunakan enam kriteria strategi Koteen yaitu 1) strategi organisasi; 2)strategi sumber daya; 3) Strategi program. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa strategi pengelolaan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUM Desa) untuk meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat di Desa Tanjungharjo mencakup tiga aspek utama. Pertama, dalam aspek strategi organisasi, terdapat perumusan visi dan misi yang melibatkan berbagai pihak terkait, dan program yang telah dijalankan sesuai dengan visi dan misi yang telah ditetapkan oleh BUM Desa Tanjung Karya. Kedua, dalam hal strategi pendukung sumber daya, masih terdapat beberapa kendala yang menghambat optimalisasi pelaksanaan strategi ini. Ketiga, dalam hal strategi program, hal ini terkait dengan evaluasi dan pelaksanaan program yang telah dijalankan dilihat dari program BUM Desa Tanjung Karya telah dapat menyumbang PAD ke APB Desa Tanjungharjo. Jadi, strategi pengelolaan BUM Desa belum sepenuhnya terlaksana dengan optimal karena masih ada hambatan.

One of the efforts that the Indonesian government can undertake to boost the local economy is by encouraging Village-Owned Enterprises, known as "Badan Usaha Milik Desa" or BUM Desa, to become more active. In the case of Tanjungharjo Village, there is a BUM Desa named Tanjungkarya. However, during its implementation, various obstacles were encountered, such as a lack of financial resources, human resources, infrastructure, and effective program management. This research aims to describe the Management Strategies of the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUM Desa) for developing the community's economy in Tanjungharjo Village, Kapas Sub-District, Bojonegoro Regency. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, and informant selection is based on purposive sampling. The informants consist of the Village Head of Tanjungharjo, the Secretary of Tanjungharjo Village, the Chairman of BUM Desa Tanjung Karya, the Secretary of BUM Desa Tanjung Karya, the Treasurer of BUM Desa Tanjung Karya, and members of the Tanjungharjo community. Data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentary analysis. The data is then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research focuses on six criteria based on Koteen's strategy, which are 1) organizational strategy, 2) resource strategy, and 3) program strategy. The research findings indicate that the management strategies of the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUM Desa) to enhance the local economy in Tanjungharjo Village encompass three main aspects. First, in the organizational strategy aspect, there is a formulation of a vision and mission involving various stakeholders, and the implemented programs align with the vision and mission set by BUM Desa Tanjung Karya. Second, regarding the resource-supporting strategy, there are still several hindrances that impede the optimization of this strategy. Third, concerning the program strategy, this pertains to the evaluation and implementation of programs. Based on the programs conducted by BUM Desa Tanjung Karya, they have contributed to the Village Revenue (PAD) for the Tanjungharjo Village Annual Village Budget (APB Desa). Thus, the management strategies of BUM Desa have not been fully executed optimally due to the presence of these obstacles.
