Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru, pengaruh budaya sekolah terhadap kinerja guru dan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala sekolah dan budaya sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Yayasan Hang Tuah Cabang Surabaya. Metode penelitian dengan kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Populasi 189 dan sampel 128 guru.
Teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket menggunakan skala Likert. Teknik Analisa data: deskritif; uji prasyarat dengan linieritas, normalitas dan multikoliniaritas; uji validasi dan reliabelitas serta uji hipotesis regresi berganda dengan uji-t, uji F, Sumbangan Efektif dan Sumbangan Relatif.
Hasil penelitian: uji-t menunjukkan: kepemimpinan demokratis mempengaruhi kinerja guru dengan t hitung 2.414 > t tabel 1.65714 dengan sumbangan efektfi 14%. Budaya sekolah mempengaruhi kinerja guru dengan t hitung 6.795 > t tabel yaitu 1.65714 dengan sumbangan efektif 44%. Uji F menunjukkan: kepemimpinan demokratis dan budaya sekolah secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi kinerja guru dengan F hitung 86.982 > Ftabel yaitu 3.07. Kesimpulan: kepemimpinan demokratis, budaya sekolah mempengaruhi kinerja guru.

The research objective was to find out how much influence the principal's democratic leadership style had on teacher performance, the influence of school culture on teacher performance and the influence of the principal's democratic leadership style and school culture on teacher performance at SMA Yayasan Hang Tuah, Surabaya Branch. Quantitative research method with correlational type. Population 189 and sample 128 teachers.
Data collection technique with a questionnaire using a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques: descriptive; prerequisite test with linearity, normality and multicollinearity; validation and reliability tests as well as multiple regression hypothesis testing with t-test, F-test, Effective Contribution and Relative Contribution.
Research results: t-test shows: democratic leadership affects teacher performance with t count 2.414 > t table 1.65714 with an effective contribution of 14%. School culture influences teacher performance with t count 6.795 > t table which is 1.65714 with an effective contribution of 44%. The F test shows: democratic leadership and school culture jointly affect teacher performance with F count 86,982 > Ftable, namely 3.07. Conclusion: democratic leadership, school culture influences teacher performance.
