Persepsi Guru Bahasa Jepang Terhadap Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) Berbasis Aplikasi WhatsApp
Japanese Language Teachers Perceptions toward Implementation of WhatsApp Application Based Distance Learning
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui persepsi guru bahasa Jepang terhadap pelaksanaan PJJ berbasis WhatsApp, 2) mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi serta 3) solusi yang dilakukan guru bahasa Jepang terhadap pelaksanaan PJJ berbasis WhatsApp. Responden dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga guru bahasa Jepang yang masih aktif mengajar di sekolah menengah kejuruan. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan temuan bahwa persepsi guru bahasa Jepang terhadap pelaksanaan PJJ berbasis aplikasi WhatsApp terdiri dari empat aspek yaitu aspek pengetahuan, aspek pengalaman, aspek sarana dan prasarana, dan aspek proses. Dari aspek pengetahuan, guru dapat mengetahui tentang WhatsApp serta cara menggunakan fiturnya. Pada aspek pengalaman, guru dapat memotivasi peserta didik untuk terlibat dalam pelaksanaan PJJ. Pada aspek sarana dan prasarana, guru mampu memberikan materi dari berbagai media pembelajaran untuk menunjang PJJ di WhatsApp. Terakhir aspek proses, guru dapat melaksanakan PJJ sesuai dengan langkah pembelajaran yang digunakan. Kendala yang dihadapi guru bahasa Jepang selama PJJ berbasis WhatsApp, yaitu 1) kesulitan mengumpulkan tugas melalui WhatsApp, 2) kesulitan melaksanakan pembelajaran face-to-face di WhatsApp, 3) keterlambatan pengumpulan tugas, 4) peserta didik tidak merespon pesan guru di grup WhatsApp. Oleh karena itu, solusi yang diberikan untuk mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi, yaitu 1) mengumpulkan tugas di google classroom, 2) menggabungkan WhatsApp dengan zoom atau google meet dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran face-to-face, sedangkan untuk kendala ketiga dan keempat solusinya adalah 3) menghubungi peserta didik secara pribadi.Kata Kunci : Persepsi guru, Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh, WhatsApp
This study aims to 1) find out the perception of Japanese Language teachers to the implementation of WhatsApp-based distance learning, 2) find out the obstacles faced and 3) the solution that Japanese Language teachers do to the implementation of WhatsApp-based distance learning. Respondents in this study consisted of three Japanese Language teachers who are still actively teaching in vocational high school. Data collection is carried out through interviews and documentation studies. The results of the study resulted in the finding that the perception of Japanese Language teachers to the implementation of distance learning based on WhatsApp application consists of four aspects, namely aspects of knowledge, aspects of learning experience, aspects of facilities and infrastructure, and aspects of the process. From aspects of knowledge, teachers can know about WhatsApp as well as how to use its features. In the aspect of learning experience, teachers can motivate students to engage in the implementation of distance learning. In the aspect of facilities and infrastructure, teachers are able to provide material from various learning media to support distance learning on WhatsApp. The last aspect of the process, teachers can carry out distance learing in accordance with the learning steps used. Obstacles faced by Japanese Language teachers during WhatsApp-based distance learning, namely 1) difficulty collecting tasks through WhatsApp, 2) difficulty carrying out face-to-face learning on WhatsApp, 3) delay in collecting tasks, 4) students do not respond to teacher messages in WhatsApp groups. Therefore, the solutions provided to overcome the obstacles faced, namely 1) collecting tasks in google classroom, 2) combining WhatsApp with zoom or google meet in carrying out face-to-face learning, while for the third and fourth obstacles the solution is 3) contacting students personally.
