The aims of the study is to discuss
the evaluation of the process and stages of implementation of strengthening the
profile of Pancasila students (P5) in the independent curriculum at SMP Negeri
1 Sedati Sidoarjo and SMP Hang Tuah 6 Excellent Juanda, the discussion of which
is summarized in a description of the stages of curriculum management, namely
planning, organizing, implementing , monitoring and evaluation. In its
evaluation, the results of this research used the CIPP evaluation stages which
include evaluation of context, input, process and program products.
This research uses qualitative methods with a multi-site study
approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation,
interviews and documentation.
The results of the research show that the evaluation at SMP
Negeri 1 Sedati Sidoarjo and SMP Hang Tuah 6 Excellent Juanda contains an
evaluation of the CIPP model which includes evaluation of context, input,
process and product. It can be concluded that based on the results of the
evaluation, the implementation of P5 at SMP Negeri 1 Sedati Sidoarjo and SMP
Hang Tuah 6 Excellent Juanda has a school follow-up plan based on the findings
obtained by researchers, namely that the school will continue the project and
try to be better than before. Furthermore, based on the evaluation results, the
implementation of P5 at SMP Negeri 1 Sedati Sidoarjo and SMP Hang Tuah 6
Excellent Juanda went as expected and was right on target. Based on the
research results, it can also be seen that students at both the two schools are in the category of developing according to
expectations and are even very developed.
