KONSTRUKSI MEDIA ONLINE PADA PEMBERITAAN KASUS PENYEBARAN VIDEO PORNOGRAFI

CONSTRUCTION OF ONLINE MEDIA IN REPORTING CASES OF THE SPREAD OF PORNOGRAPHY VIDEOS

Media menjadi sumber informasi yang dipercaya dan dianggap penting oleh sebagian besar masyarakat. Media dapat memberikan informasi dari suatu peristiwa yang berasal dari tempat-tempat yang jauh, sehingga media dapat memberikan informasi sekaligus juga dapat mempengaruhi pandangan masyarakat yang membacanya. Setiap media memiliki sudut pandang tersendiri dalam melihat serta menyampaikan berita ke masyarakat. Media juga memiliki kepentingan yang berbeda-beda seperti sosial, politik, dan ekonomi dan setiap wartawan diharuskan mengikuti kepentingan dimana mereka bekerja. Berita yang cukup menarik perhatian masyarakat dan diberitakan di berbagai media yaitu mengenai seksualitas dan gender. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti juga akan meneliti berita yang berkaitan dengan seksualitas dan gender yaitu kasus penyebaran video pornografi di media sosial oleh Siskaee dan Dea. Media yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah Kompas.com, Detik.com, dan CNNIndonesia.com, dimana ketiga media ini memiliki jumlah pembaca terbanyak di Indonesia menurut hasil riset Reuters Institude pada periode Juni 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan konstruksi sosial media Peter L berger dan kekerasan simbolis oleh Piere Bordieu. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis framing Murray Edelman untuk menganalisis data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dari ketiga media tersebut memandang bahwa kasus video pornografi Siskaeee dan Dea Onlyfans merupakan perbuatan pelanggaran hukum yang harus diberi sanksi. Dalam pemberitaan di ketiga media tersebut, media cenderung kontra dengan kedua kasus ini tersebut dengan menjelaskan pelanggarannya yaitu melanggar UU Pornografi dan juga UU ITE karena melibatkan media sosial Onlyfans dan Twitter sebagai media penyebaran video. Setiap media memiliki kecenderungan masing-masing. Kompas.com cenderung menampilkan isi melalui judul, dengan hanya membaca judul, dapat diketahui isi pemberitaan tersebut. Detik.com cenderung hanya menggunakan satu narasumber. Sedangkan CNN Indonesia.com cenderung memakai berbagai narasumber dari berbagai sudut pandang.

The media is a source of information that is trusted and considered important by most people. The media can provide information about an event that comes from distant places, so that the media can provide information and at the same time influence the views of the people who read it. Each media has its own point of view in viewing and conveying news to the public. The media also has different interests such as social, political and economic and every journalist is required to follow the interests in which they work. News that is sufficient to attract the public's attention and is reported in various media is about sexuality and gender. In this study, researchers will also examine news related to sexuality and gender, namely the case of the distribution of pornographic videos on social media by Siskaee and Dea. The media used in this study are Kompas.com, Detik.com, and CNNIndonesia.com, where these three media have the highest number of readers in Indonesia according to the results of a Reuters Institude research for the period June 2022. This study uses social media constructions by Peter L Berger and symbolic violence by Piere Bordieu. This research method uses qualitative data analysis using Murray Edelman's framing analysis to analyze the data. The results of this study are that the three media view that the pornographic video case of Siskaeee and Dea Onlyfans is a violation of the law that must be sanctioned. In reporting on the three media, the media tends to oppose these two cases by explaining the violations, namely violating the Pornography Law and also the ITE Law because they involve social media Onlyfans and Twitter as a medium for video distribution. Each medium has its own tendencies. Kompas.com tends to display content through the title, by just reading the title, you can know the contents of the news. Detik.com tends to only use one source. Meanwhile, CNN Indonesia.com tends to use various sources from various points of view
