Penelitian ini mengembangkan prototipe assistive expert system untuk membantu individu latihan olahraga weight training (hammer curl dan overhead press) secara mandiri di rumah guna mengatasi keterbatasan akses ke pelatih profesional. Sistem berbasis MediaPipe menggunakan kamera untuk mendeteksi 33 keypoints tubuh dan mengevaluasi postur secara real-time melalui empat parameter: sudut dinamis, sudut statis, jarak pergelangan tangan, dan luas binary mask. Hasil evaluasi kinerja pada 7 responden menunjukkan presisi yang sangat tinggi (98-100%), yang membuktikan keandalan sistem dalam validasi repetisi. Namun, akurasi sistem lebih moderat (64-68%) karena logika evaluasi yang ketat menyebabkan tingginya angka False Negative. Meskipun demikian, validitas metode penilaian terbukti sangat kuat dengan adanya Pearson’s Coefficient Correlation yang sangat tinggi (r = 0.86 hingga 0.94) antara skor sistem dan rating instruktur ahli. Sistem ini terbukti efektif sebagai solusi pemandu latihan mandiri yang objektif dan andal.
This research develops a prototype of an assistive expert system to help individuals perform weight training exercises (hammer curl and overhead press) independently at home to overcome the limited access to professional trainers. The MediaPipe-based system uses a camera to detect 33 body keypoints and evaluates posture in real-time through four parameters: dynamic angles, static angles, wrist distance, and binary mask area. The performance evaluation on 7 respondents shows a very high precision (98-100%), which proves the system's reliability in repetition validation. However, the system's accuracy is more moderate (64-68%) because the strict evaluation logic causes a high number of False Negatives. Nevertheless, the validity of the assessment method is proven to be very strong with a very high Pearson's Coefficient Correlation (r = 0.86 to 0.94) between the system's score and the expert instructor's rating. This system is proven to be an effective solution as an objective and reliable guide for independent training.
