Development of E-Books Based on Project Based Learning Biological Technology Innovation Materials to Train Creative Thinking Ability in High School Students
Berpikir kreatif dalam tuntutan abad-21 perlu ditingkatkan dalam kurikulum Merdeka. Berpikir kreatif merupakan usaha dalam menciptakan gagasan pemikiran baru. Berpikir kreatif dapat dilatihkan melalui model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL). Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan E-Book Berbasis Project Based Learning pada Materi Inovasi Teknologi Biologi untuk Melatih Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif pada Peserta Didik SMA yang layak berdasarkan validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. E-Book dikembangkan menggunakan model ADDIE yakni Analysis, Design, Developement, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Uji coba terbatas mengimplementasikan kepada siswa SMA kelas X di SMA Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya. Variabel meliputi validitas yang dilihat dari hasil validitas ahli, kepraktisan yang dilihat dari hasil uji grafik fry, observasi keterlaksanaan, dan respons peserta didik, dan keefektifan yang dilihat dari hasil tes dan juga penilaian proyek. Data dianalisis dengan teknik deskripsi kuantitatif. E-Book dinyatakan sangat valid dengan persentase 90,2% ditinjau daari kelayakan penyajian, isi, bahasa, kesesuaian sintak model pembelajaran Project Based Learning, dan ketercapaian aspek berpikir kreatif oleh ketiga validator. E-book dinyatakan praktis ditinjau dari aspek keterbacaan uji grafik fry berada pada tingkat kelas 11, mendapatkan respons positif dari peserta didik dengan persentase respons penggunaan E-Book sebesar 95,6% termasuk kategori sangat baik, dan mendapatkan hasil observasi keterlaksanaan sebesar 3,75 termasuk kategori sangat baik. E-Book berbasis Project Based Leaning untuk melatihkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif efektif ditinjau dari peningkatan hasil belajar dengan gain score keseluruhan sebesar 0,73 dengan kategori tinggi serta mampu melatihkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan penilaian proyek peserta didik sebesar 89,2% dengan kategori sangat efektif. E-Book yang telah dikembangkan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran secara valid, praktis dan efektif serta mampu melatih kemampuan berpikir kreatif menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning.
Creative thinking in the demands of the 21st century needs to be enhanced in the Merdeka curriculum. Creative thinking is thinking about trying to create new ideas (Harriman, 2017). Creative thinking can be trained through the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model. This research aims to produce an E-Book based on Project Based Learning on Biological Technology Innovation Material to Train Creative Thinking Skills in High School Students that is feasible based on validity, practicality and effectiveness. The e-Book was developed using the ADDIE model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Limited trial implementation for class X high school students at Hang Tuah 4 High School Surabaya. Variables include validity as seen from expert validity results, practicality as seen from fry graph test results, implementation observations and student responses, and effectiveness as seen from test results and project assessment. Data were analyzed using quantitative description techniques. The e-Book was declared very valid with a percentage of 90.2% in terms of appropriateness of presentation, content, language, suitability of the syntax of the Project Based Learning learning model, and achievement of creative thinking aspects by the three validators. The e-book was stated to be practical in terms of the readability aspect of the fry graph test at grade 11 level, getting a positive response from students with a response percentage for using the e-book of 95.6%, including the very good category, and getting an implementation observation result of 3.75 included in the very good category. E-Book based on Project Based Leaning to train creative thinking skills effectively in terms of increasing learning outcomes with an overall gain score of 0.73 in the high category and being able to train students' creative thinking skills and project assessment of 89.2% in the very effective category. E-Books that have been developed can be used in learning is valid, practical and effective and able to train the ability to think creatively using the project-based learning model.
