COMPARISON OF STABILITY OF GRAVITY WALL AND CANTILEVER WALL TYPE RETAINING WALLS USING GEOSTUDIO SLOPE/W IN EKA CANDRARINI HOSPITAL PROJECT
Perbandingan stabilitas dinding penahan tanah (DPT) dilakukan karena pada lokasi proyek RSUD Eka Candrarini terdapat perbedaan elevasi dan penggunaan dua tipe (DPT) yang berbeda yaitu tipe gravity wall dan cantilever wall yang dikonstruksi secara berdampingan dengan tujuan mengetahui tipe mana yang lebih efisien dan efektif. Pada penelitian ini, pemodelan dan analisa software Geostudio Slope/W digunakan untuk mengetahui nilai Factor of Safety (FS) stabilitas global lereng dan menggunakkan metode perhitungan manual untuk mengetahui nilai (FS) stabilitas guling (overturning), geser (sliding) dan kapasitas dukung tanah (bearing capacity). Diperoleh hasil bahwa dinding penahan tanah tipe cantilever wall lebih efisien dan efektif dibanding gravity wall dari segi stabilitas dinding. Dari hasil analisa kedua tipe dinding diperoleh nilai stabilitas global lereng 4,244 dan 4,270 untuk gravity dan cantilever wall dengan selisih 0,61%, stabilitas guling (overturning) 2,277 dan 2,219 untuk untuk gravity dan cantilever wall dengan selisih 1,96%, stabilitas geser (sliding) 3,954 dan 3,923 untuk gravity dan cantilever wall dengan selisih 0,79%, stabilitas daya dukung tanah (bearing capacity) 3,419 dan 3,537 untuk gravity dan cantilever wall dengan selisih 4,32%.

Stability comparison retaining wall (DPT) was conducted because at the Eka Candrarini Hospital project location there were differences in elevation and the use of two different types of (DPT), namely the gravity wall and cantilever wall types which were constructed side by side with the aim of finding out which type was more efficient and effective. In this study, modeling and analysis of Geostudio Slope/W software were used to determine the value of the Factor of Safety (FS) for global slope stability and using manual calculation methods to determine the value of (FS) for overturning stability, sliding and soil bearing capacity. The results showed that the cantilever wall type retaining wall is more efficient and effective than the gravity wall in terms of wall stability. From the analysis results of the two types of walls, the global slope stability values were obtained as 4.244 and 4.270 for gravity and cantilever walls with a difference of 0.61%, overturning stability of 2.277 and 2.219 for gravity and cantilever walls with a difference of 1.96%, sliding stability of 3.954 and 3.923 for gravity and cantilever walls with a difference of 0.79%, and soil bearing capacity stability of 3.419 and 3.573 for gravity and cantilever walls with a difference of 4.32%.
