In both industrial and household settings, dc motors remain a viable option for room temperature control due to their cost-effectiveness and efficiency. However, the manual control of their speed through levers or buttons still needs to be improved. Moreover, it is not easy to ascertain whether the dc motor is operating at an appropriate speed. These DC motors have a limited performance lifespan, and running them continuously at maximum speed can lead to performance degradation. This research implements an experimental approach using Internet of Things (IoT) technology to design and monitor the temperature, rpm, voltage, and current to address limited performance lifespan. The IoT OnOff application utilizes LoRa, enabling data transmission without relying on WiFi.The adaptive adjustment of the DC motor speed is achieved through a microcontroller with a PWM pin and a DHT 11 sensor as essential components. The implementation of LoRa technology proves to be effective for data transmission. When measured with a measuring instrument, the sensor readings show minimal error on the encoder and very low voltage and current readings (below 1%) on the INA 219 sensor.
