Stroke adalah kondisi dimana pasokan darah ke otak mengalami gangguan. Stroke dibagi menjadi dua jenis yaitu stroke hemoragik, kondisi dimana saraf pada otak pecah atau mengalami kebocoran dan stroke iskemik, terjadi karena saraf pada otak mengalami penyumbatan. Stroke setiap tahun memiliki masa yang paling berpotensi terulang terkena serangan kembali. Maka dari itu penanganan stroke secara mandiri sangat perlu diperhatikan. Permasalahan ini merupakan peluang untuk berkontribusi tehadap keluarga pasien maupun rumah sakit yang membutuhkan media penjelasan tentang pola hidup yang baik bagi pasien pasca stroke. Hasil karya dari perancangan ini merupakan media booklet yang mudah dipahami karena didalamnya terdapat materi secara ringkas sehingga mendapatkan nilai efektif dan efisiensi dari materi. Perancangan booklet ilustrasi adalah langkah yang tepat karena ilustrasi dapat membantu visualisasi secara garis besar terhadap pola hidup yang baik bagi pasien pasca stroke. Diharapkan booklet tentang pola hidup yang baik bagi pasien pasca stroke ini dapat memberikan pesan edukasi maupun referensi sehingga pembaca lebih senang dalam membaca dan mudah untuk memahami materi pola hidup yang baik bagi pasien pasca stroke.

Stroke are divided into two types namely hemorrhagic stroke, a condition in which the nerves in the brain break or leak and ischemic strokes, which occur because the nerves in the brain become blocked. And strokes every year have the most potential recurrences. Therefore, stroke handling independently needs to be considered. This problem is an opportunity to contribute to the families of patients and hospitals that require media to explain about a good lifestyle for patients after stroke. The work of this design is an easy-to-understand media booklet because it contains material in a concise manner so as to obtain the effective value and efficiency of the material. The design of the illustration booklet is a step in the right direction because the illustration can help visualize in outline about a good lifestyle for patients after stroke. It is expected that this booklet about a good lifestyle for patients after stroke can provide educational and reference messages so that readers are more happy in reading and easy to understand good lifestyle material for patients after stroke.
