MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MOTORIK HALUS ANAK TUNAGRAHITA MELALUI KEGIATAN SENI FINGER PAINTING
ENHANCING THE FINE MOTOR SKILLS OF MENTAL RETARDATION CHILDREN THROUGH FINGER PAINTING ART ACTIVITIES
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kegiatan seni finger painting terhadap peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus pada anak tunagrahita. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah literature review dengan menggali sumber yang berasal dari literatur dengan jenis penelitian Action Research dan Pre-Experimental Designs. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menyelesaikan masalah. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi adanya peningkatan nilai pada kemampuan motorik halus anak tunagrahita setelah diberikannya kegiatan seni finger painting. Pada literatur dengan jenis penelitian Action Research di siklus 1 menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 65,32 dan pada siklus 2 menjadi 81, sedangkan pada jenis penelitian Pre-Experimental Designs nilai rata-rata pre-test yaitu 35,64 dan pada saat post-test menjadi 71,59. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan seni finger painting dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus pada anak tunagrahita.

The purpose of this study is to analyze about the art of finger painting activities on the fine motor skills in mentally retarded children. The research method used is a literature review by digging sources from the literature with the type of Action Research and Pre-Experimental Design Research. Data analysis was carried out with a quantitative approach to solve the problem. The results of data analysis showed that there was an increase in the value of the fine motor skills of mentally retarded children after being given finger painting art activities. In the literature with the type of Action Research research in cycle 1, the average value is 65.32 and in cycle 2 it is 81, while in the Pre-Experimental Designs study the average value of the pre-test is 35,64 and at the time of post-test to 71,59. Based on these results, it can be concluded that finger painting art activities can improve fine motor skills in mentally retarded children.
