Abstrak : Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya keterampilan serta kemandirian terhadap toileting pada siswa tunanetra yang meliputi langkah-langkah dalam buang air di kamar mandi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh Pembelajaran Orientasi Mobilitas Sosial dan Komunikasi (OMSK) terhadap kemandirian Toileting pada siswa tunanetra di SDLB-A YPAB Surabaya.
Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis pre eksperimen. Desain penelitian one group pre test-post test design untuk memperoleh data keterampilan toileting sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pre-test dan post-test. Hasil pre-test 34,02 dan hasil post-test 77,77. Sehingga diperoleh Zh=2,20 lebih besar dibanding nilai krisis 5% Zt=1,96 yang dapat diartikan bahwa ada pengaruh Pembelajaran Orientasi Mobilitas Sosial dan Komunikasi (OMSK) terhadap kemandirian Toileting pada siswa tunanetra di SDLB-A YPAB Surabaya.

This research was motivated by a lack of skills and independence towards toileting in blind students who included steps in defecating in the bathroom. The purpose of this study was to examine The Effect Learning of Mobility Orientation and Social Communication against Toileting Independence in Blind Students at SDLB-A YPAB Surabaya.
This research method uses a quantitative approach with a type of pre-experiment. One group research design pre-post-test design to obtain toileting skills data before and after treatment. The results of the study were obtained from the results of the pre-test and post-test. Pre-test results 34.02 and post-test results 77.77. So that Zh = 2.20 is greater than the crisis value of 5% Zt = 1.96 which can be interpreted that there is an Effect Learning of Mobility
Orientation and Social Communication against Toileting Independence in Blind Students at SDLB-A YPAB Surabaya.
