PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF PADA MATERI KIMIA DALAM KEHIDUPAN SEHARI-HARI SEBAGAI PENUNJANG KEGIATAN LITERASI SAINS UNTUK SISWA TUNARUNGU SMALB
DEVELOPMENT OF INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA ON CHEMICAL MATERIALS IN DAILY LIFE AS SUPPORTING ACTIVITIES SCIENCE LITERATURE FOR HEARING IMPAIRMENT STUDENTS IN SPECIAL SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia interaktif sebagai media pembelajaran penunjang kegiatan literasi sains bagi siswa tunarungu yang layak ditinjau berdasarkan validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development (RnD) yang terdapat 3 tahapan, yaitu (1) Pendahuluan, (2) Pengembangan, dan (3) Pengujian. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan kepada 5 siswa kelas XI SMALB Negeri Gedangan Sidoarjo. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan validitas MMI yang dikembangkan berdasarkan kriteria isi, penyajian, dan kebahasaan masing-masing mendapatkan penilaian dengan rentang presentase 80,00% - 93,33%; 80,00% - 100%; dan 86,67% - 93,33% dengan modus masing-masing 4-5, dari ketiga aspek masuk ketagori valid dengan kriteria sengat baik. Kepraktisan ditinjau dari respon siswa memperoleh tanggapan positif dengan presentase pada rentang 60% - 100% dan hasil observasi aktivitas peserta didik selama tahap uji coba Multimedia Interaktif dengan persentase sebesar 100%. Keefektifan ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa rentang nilai 80 - 100 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 100%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa MMI yang dikembangkan pada materi kimia dalam rumah tangga untuk siswa tunarungu layak digunakan sebagai penunjang kegiatan literasi sains.

This study aims to develop interactive multimedia as a learning media to support scientific literacy activities for deaf students which is worthy of review based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The method used in this research, namely Research and Development (RnD) modified by Sukmadinata, has 3 stages, namely (1) Introduction, (2) Development, and (3) Testing. The limited trial was conducted on 5 students of class XI SMALB Negeri Gedangan Sidoarjo. The results showed that the validity of the MMI which was developed based on the criteria of content, presentation, and language received an assessment with a percentage range of 80.00% - 93.33%; 80.00% - 100%; and 86.67% - 93.33% with each mode of 4-5, from the three aspects into the valid category with the criteria of good sting. Practicality in terms of student responses obtained positive responses with a percentage in the range of 60% - 100% and the results of observing student activities during the Interactive Multimedia trial stage with a percentage of 100%. The effectiveness in terms of student learning outcomes ranges from 80 to 100 with a classical completeness of 100%. Thus, it can be concluded that the MMI which was developed on household chemistry materials for deaf students is suitable for use as a learning medium.
