(PHENOMENOLOGY STUDY ON NIGHT XUB CLUB DANCER IN SURABAYA)

Dunia malam merupakan salah satu aktifitas yang dilakukan pada malam, yang kebanyakan bersifat hiburan. Klub malam merupakan salah satu tempat berlangsunya dunia malam di kota – kota metropolitan. Klub malam sendiri menjadi pilihan pada malam hari untuk mencari sebuah hiburan dimalam hari. Kota Surabaya merupakan salah satu kota Metropolitan yang didalamnya terdapat banyak sekali klub malam. Klub malam X adalah salah satu klub malam yang didalamnya terdapat dancer klub malam, tujuannya untuk menghibur para tamu yang datang. Beberapa dancer klub malam X ini adalah dancer perantauan dari luar Surabaya yang memilih bekerja jauh dari kampung halamannya. Didalam klub malam X ini para dancernya tidak hanya menari namun juga harus mau untuk di BO (booking). Tujuan penelitian pada artikel ini untuk mengetahui motif yang dimunculkan para dancer sehingga mau di BO. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan perspektif fenomenologi, agar dapat memeproleh secara detail informasi dari informan serta menjalin kedekatan dengan informan. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori motif milik Alferd Schutz dengan analisis grounded research. Hasil penelitian pada pebelitian ini menunjukan ada beragam motif yang dimunculkan oleh dancer sehingga mau di BO yaitu antara lain karena kebutuhan hidup hingga gaya hidup. 

The night world is one of the activities carried out at night, which is mostly entertainment. Nightclubs are one of the places the world of nightlife passes in metropolitan cities. The nightclub itself becomes an option at night to look for entertainment at night. Surabaya is one of the Metropolitan cities in which there are many nightclubs. Nightclub X is one of the nightclubs in which there is a nightclub dancer, the aim is to entertain the guests who come. Some of the X nightclub dancers are overseas dancers from outside Surabaya who choose to work far from their hometown. In this X night club the dancers not only dance but also must be willing to be in the BO (booking). The purpose of this research is to find out the motives that appear by dancers so that they want to be in the BO. This study uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological perspective, in order to obtain detailed information from informants and establish closeness with informants. The theory used is Alferd Schutz's motive theory with grounded research analysis. The results of this research show that there are a variety of motives that are raised by dancers so that they want to be in the BO, for example because of the necessities of life to lifestyle
