HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL TEMAN SEBAYA DAN MINAT BELAJAR TERHADAP PEMILIHAN KARIER PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI DI SMA NEGERI 1 DRIYOREJO
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PEER SOCIAL SUPPORT AND LEARNING INTERESTS TOWARDS THE CAREER CHOICE OF GRADE XI STUDENTS AT STATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1 DRIYOREJO
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya, minat belajar, dan pemilihan karier siswa di SMAN 1 Driyorejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis korelasional. Responden dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dan ditentukan berdasarkan rumus Slovin untuk memastikan keakuratan hasil penelitian, data dikumpulkan melalui google formulir. Teknik analisis data melibatkan Korelasi Pearson Product Moment dan korelasi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dan minat belajar (r = 0,197), meskipun lemah. Nilai p = 0,007 (p < 0,05) menunjukkan hubungan ini signifikan secara statistik. Artinya, semakin tinggi dukungan sosial yang diterima, semakin tinggi pula minat belajar mereka. Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan pemilihan karier (r = 0,374, p = 0,000). Ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi dukungan sosial yang diterima siswa, semakin besar kemungkinan mereka untuk membuat keputusan karier yang lebih baik. Selain itu, ditemukan pula hubungan positif yang cukup kuat antara minat belajar dan pemilihan karier (r = 0,434, p = 0,000), yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan minat belajar tinggi cenderung lebih aktif dalam mengeksplorasi informasi karier dan mengembangkan keterampilan yang relevan. Secara keseluruhan, kombinasi antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dan minat belajar memiliki hubungan positif yang cukup kuat dengan pemilihan karier siswa (r = 0,524, p = 0,000). Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya dukungan sosial dan minat belajar sebagai faktor utama dalam membantu siswa membuat keputusan karier yang matang.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between peer social support, learning interest, and career choice of students at SMAN 1 Driyorejo. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational analysis method. Respondents were selected using a simple random sampling technique and determined based on the Slovin formula to ensure the accuracy of the research results, data were collected through google forms. Data analysis techniques involve Pearson Product Moment Correlation and multiple correlations. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between peer social support and learning interest (r = 0.197), although weak. The p value = 0.007 (p <0.05) indicates that this relationship is statistically significant. This means that the higher the social support received, the higher their learning interest. There is a positive and significant relationship between peer social support and career choice (r = 0.374, p = 0.000). This shows that the higher the social support students receive, the more likely they are to make better career decisions. In addition, a fairly strong positive relationship was found between learning interest and career choice (r = 0.434, p = 0.000), indicating that students with high learning interest tend to be more active in exploring career information and developing relevant skills. Overall, the combination of peer social support and learning interest has a fairly strong positive relationship with students' career choice (r = 0.524, p = 0.000). These findings confirm the importance of social support and learning interest as major factors in helping students make informed career decisions.
