This
study aims to develop learning tools based on the Benyaru ceremony in social
science learning through the application of the two stay two stray cooperative
learning model.
This
research includes development research using the 4D Thiagarajan model, namely
define, design, develop, and deseminate. This research belongs to the category
of research and development (R&D). The focus of this research is the
development of social studies learning tools that produce research results in
the form of RPP products, textbooks, worksheets, attitude competency
observation sheets, knowledge competency tests, and skills competency
observation sheets. Data collection techniques and instruments in this study
used questionnaires, validation sheets for learning tools and learning devices
that have been validated and are said to be feasible to apply. To find out the
quality of the learning tools were analyzed descriptively qualitatively, while
to determine the effectiveness of the learning tools used quantitative descriptive
analysis using student competency tests in the form of pretest and posttest
questions with the normality test and homogeneity test.
The results of this
development research indicate that based on the results of the validation of
the overall learning tools developed which consist of validation of the lesson
plans, it is known that the assessment of the lesson plans is categorized as
good and feasible with the achievement of a value of 3.17; validation of
textbooks is known that the overall results are said to be valid. While related
to the overall test results of learning is said to be valid and reliable. In
connection with the effectiveness of all learning tools that have been
validated and tested on a limited basis on grade VII students, it shows that
the learning tools used are effective to improve the competency results of
students at SMP Negeri 1 Long Ikis as shown from the data on the acquisition of
RPP implementation scores, namely 3.08 and the results obtained. student social
studies learning which includes attainment competency attitudes, namely 2.74
(68,%) with good category, knowledge competence, namely the value of the
pretest-posstest results which are then processed using the normality test and
the homogeneity test, the results show that the correlation of the
pretest-posttest results is different very significant or α = 0.05 sig (Ho
rejected)
