Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis upacara Benyaru pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial melalui penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative tipe two stay two stray.

Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4D Thiagarajan yaitu define, design, develop, dan desseminate. Penelitian ini termasuk pada kategori penelitian pengembangan (R&D). Fokus penelitian ini adalah pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran IPS yang menghasilkan hasil penelitian berupa produk RPP, buku ajar, LKS, lembar observasi kompetensi sikap, tes kompetensi pengetahuan, dan lembar observasi kompetensi keterampilan. Teknik pengumpulan data dan instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket, lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran dan perangkat pembelajaran yang sudah divalidasi serta dikatakan layak untuk diterapkan. Untuk mengetahui kualitas dari perangkat pembelajaran dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif, sementara untuk mengetahui efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran digunakan analsisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan tes kompetensi siswa berupa soal prretest dan posttest dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas.

Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan pada hasil validasi terhadap keseluruhan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan yang terdiri atas validasi terhadap RPP diketahui bahwa penilaian terhadap RPP dikategorikan baik dan layak dengan pencapaian nilai 3,17; validasi terhadap buku ajar diketahui bahwa hasilnya secara keseluruhan dikatakan valid. Sementara berkaitan dengan tes hasil belajar secara keseluruhan dikatakan valid dan reliabel. Berkaitan dengan efektivitas dari keseluruhan perangkat pembelajaran yang telah divalidasi dan diujikan secara terbatas pada siswa kelas VII menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil kompetensi siswa SMP Negeri 1 Long Ikis yang ditunjukkan dari data perolehan nilai keterlaksanaan RPP yaitu 3,08 dan perolehan hasil belajar IPS siswa yang meliputi pencapaian kompetensi sikap yaitu 2,74 (68,%) dengan kategori baik, kompetensi pengetahuan yaitu nilai hasil pretest-posstest yang selanjutnya diolah menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa korelasi hasil pretest-posttest terdapat perbedaan yang sangat signifikan atau α = 0,05sig (Ho ditolak)

This study aims to develop learning tools based on the Benyaru ceremony in social science learning through the application of the two stay two stray cooperative learning model.

This research includes development research using the 4D Thiagarajan model, namely define, design, develop, and deseminate. This research belongs to the category of research and development (R&D). The focus of this research is the development of social studies learning tools that produce research results in the form of RPP products, textbooks, worksheets, attitude competency observation sheets, knowledge competency tests, and skills competency observation sheets. Data collection techniques and instruments in this study used questionnaires, validation sheets for learning tools and learning devices that have been validated and are said to be feasible to apply. To find out the quality of the learning tools were analyzed descriptively qualitatively, while to determine the effectiveness of the learning tools used quantitative descriptive analysis using student competency tests in the form of pretest and posttest questions with the normality test and homogeneity test.

The results of this development research indicate that based on the results of the validation of the overall learning tools developed which consist of validation of the lesson plans, it is known that the assessment of the lesson plans is categorized as good and feasible with the achievement of a value of 3.17; validation of textbooks is known that the overall results are said to be valid. While related to the overall test results of learning is said to be valid and reliable. In connection with the effectiveness of all learning tools that have been validated and tested on a limited basis on grade VII students, it shows that the learning tools used are effective to improve the competency results of students at SMP Negeri 1 Long Ikis as shown from the data on the acquisition of RPP implementation scores, namely 3.08 and the results obtained. student social studies learning which includes attainment competency attitudes, namely 2.74 (68,%) with good category, knowledge competence, namely the value of the pretest-posstest results which are then processed using the normality test and the homogeneity test, the results show that the correlation of the pretest-posttest results is different very significant or α = 0.05 sig (Ho rejected)
