ABSTRAK
Motorik kasar merupakan penggunaan beberapa otot besar untuk melakukan gerakan, kemampuan lokomotor seperti berlari, meloncat, mendorong, keterampilan manipulatif seperti melambungkan bola, menangkap bola, menendang melempar. Pengembangan kemampuan motorik kasar memerlukan gerakan yang menggunakan beberapa otot besar yang bisa didapatkan dari aktivitas fisik dirumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis aktivitas fisik yang digunakan orang tua terhadap anak dalam pengembangan kemampuan motorik kasar dirumah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Terkait teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang sudah didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data berupa pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta pengambilan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan aktivitas fisik yang sebagian besar dilakukan oleh anak adalah aktivitas menirukan gaya hewan, karena mudah dilakukan, tanpa alat dan bisa dilakukan dirumah. Aktivitas tersebut dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak.

ABSTRACT
Gross motor skills are the use of several large muscles to perform movements, locomotor abilities such as running, jumping, pushing, manipulative skills such as bouncing a ball, catching a ball, kicking throwing. The development of gross motor skills requires movements that use several large muscles that can be obtained from physical activity at home. This study aims to determine the type of physical activity that parents use for their children in developing gross motor skills at home. This research method uses qualitative methods with purposive sampling technique. Related to data collection techniques, it was done by interview, observation, and documentation. The data that has been obtained were analyzed using data analysis techniques in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. The results showed that most of the physical activities carried out by children were animal-style imitating activities, because they were easy to do, without tools and could be done at home. These activities can improve children's gross motor skills.
