PENGGUNAAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LITERASI SAINS SISWA PADA ERA NEW NORMAL
THE USE OF INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA TO IMPROVE STUDENT’S SCIENCE LITERACY IN THE NEW NORMAL ERA
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan multimedia interaktif terhadap literasi sains siswa pada era new normal dan respon siswa setelah pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia interaktif pada materi aliran energi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pre-experimental design melalui one group pretest-postest design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 31 siswa kelas VII C SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Taman Sidoarjo, semester genap tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan angket. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, tes literasi sains, dan lembar angket respon siswa. Hasil tes dianalisis menggunakan uji N-Gain, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan dan angket respon dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia interatif pada materi aliran energi mendapatkan kriteria terlaksana dengan baik. Kemampuan literasi sains siswa mengalami peningkatan dari nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 38,5 menjadi 81 pada saat posttest dengan rata-rata skor N-Gain sebesar 0,69 yang berkategori sedang. Proses pembelajaran dan penggunaan aplikasi multimedia interaktif pada materi aliran energi juga direspon positif oleh siswa. Berdasarkan uraian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia interaktif pada materi aliran energi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa pada era new normal.

This study aims to describe the influence of the use of interactive multimedia on students' science literacy in the new normal era and student responses after learning using interactive multimedia on energy flow materials. The type of research used is pre-experimental design research through one group pretest-postest design. The subjects in this study were 31 students of class VIIC in Muhammadiyah Junior High School 2 Taman Sidoarjo, even the semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. Data collected by techniques use observation, tests, and questionnaires. Research instruments are in the form of observation sheets for the implementation of learning, science literacy tests, and student response questionnaire sheets. The test results were analyzed using the N-Gain test, the implementation observation sheet, and the response questionnaire were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results showed that the implementation of learning using interactive multimedia on energy flow materials got the criteria for being carried out properly. Students' science literacy skills increased from an average pretest score of 38.5 to 81 at the time of post-test with an average N-Gain score of 0.69 which was categorized as moderate. The learning process and the use of interactive multimedia applications on energy flow materials were also responded to positively by students. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that learning using interactive multimedia on energy flow materials can improve students' science literacy skills in the new normal era.
