Penulis memilih film "Elemental: Forces of Nature" untuk di analisis menggunakan teori Psikoanalisis Jacques Lacan yang berfokus pada kekuatan kepercayaan, konsep kebutuhan dan keinginan yang dirasakan oleh karakter utama film. Studi ini menguak bagaimana kepercayaan karakter film membentuk perilaku dan mempengaruhi hubungan terlarang mereka.
