Pengembangan Model Permainan Pickleball Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Siswa Sekolah Dasar
Development of a Pickleball Game Model to Increase Elementary School Students' Interest
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model permainan pickleball yang dimodifikasi untuk meningkatkan minat siswa sekolah dasar terhadap pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK). Menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate), produk dikembangkan melalui analisis kebutuhan lapangan di SD Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya, validasi ahli, uji coba skala kecil (12 siswa), skala besar (80 siswa kelas 5), serta uji efektivitas dengan pretest-posttest dan angket minat. Hasil menunjukkan model dinyatakan layak (validasi ahli >80%), praktis (respons guru dan siswa >75%), serta efektif meningkatkan minat belajar siswa secara signifikan (uji-t menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna). Penelitian pengembangan ini berhasil menghasilkan model pembelajaran PJOK berbasis permainan pickleball modifikasi (3 on 3) menggunakan model ADDIE untuk meningkatkan minat siswa kelas 5 SD Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. Validasi ahli mencapai 81,1% (sangat layak), dengan instrumen valid dan reliabel. Uji coba skala kecil (12 siswa: 87%, sangat baik) dan skala besar (86 siswa: 87-90%, sangat baik) menunjukkan kepraktisan tinggi dari guru dan siswa terhadap sarana, prasarana, serta peraturan modifikasi. Uji efektivitas (one group pretest-posttest, n=43) membuktikan peningkatan signifikan minat siswa (Sig. <0.05), dengan produk akhir berupa buku panduan dan video

This research aims to develop a modified pickleball game model to increase elementary school students' interest in Physical Education, Sports, and Health learning. Using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) development model, the product was developed through a field needs analysis at Muhammadiyah 4 Elementary School in Surabaya, expert validation, small-scale trials (12 students), large-scale trials (80 fifth-grade students), and effectiveness testing using a pretest-posttest and interest questionnaire. The results showed that the model was feasible (expert validation >80%), practical (teacher and student responses >75%), and effective in significantly increasing student learning interest (a t-test showed a significant difference). This development research successfully produced a modified pickleball-based physical education learning model (3 on 3) using the ADDIE model to increase the interest of fifth-grade students at Muhammadiyah 4 Elementary School, Surabaya. Expert validation reached 81.1% (very feasible), with valid and reliable instruments. Small-scale trials (12 students: 87%, very good) and large-scale trials (86 students: 87-90%, very good) demonstrated high practicality among teachers and students regarding the facilities, infrastructure, and modified regulations. The effectiveness test (one group pretest-posttest, n=43) demonstrated a significant increase in student interest (Sig. <0.05), with the final product being a guidebook and video.
