Rasionalitas keikutsertaan Masyarakat Dusun Kleteh Randegansari dalam Tradisi Sedekah Bumi 

The rationality of the participation of the Kleteh Randegansari Hamlet Community in the Alms Earth Tradition

Tradisi sedekah bumi atau tegaldeso adalah suatu kegiatan yang dilaksankan  secara turun temurun dalam waktu tertentu oleh masyarakat Kleteh. Setiap melaksankan tradisi sedekah bumi setiap tahunnya, masyarakat Dusun Kleteh mayoritas semua ikutserta dalam tradisi tersebut. Keikutsertaan masyarakat merupakan salah satu tindakan yang memiliki tujuan tertentu dalam acara tradisi sedekah bumi. berkaitan dengan acara tradisi sedekah bumi terdapat panitia yang menyusun rangkaian acara yaitu kegiatan pawai, pembukaan serta do’a bersama, rebutan tumpeng raksasa dan hiburan tradisional  yaitu ludruk. Meskipun di Dusun Kleteh banyak terdapat masyarakat pendatang dan mayoritas masyarakat sudah berallih fungsi menjadi masyarakat industri, akan tetapi masyarakat masih mempertahankan acara tradisi sedekah bumi. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana rasionalitas keikutsertaan masyarakat dalam acara tradisi sedekah bumi?. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu 1). Mengidentifikasi keikutsertaan masyarakat dalam acara tradisi sedekah bumi. 2). Mengidentifikasi tujuan masyarakat dalam ikutserta acara tradisi sedekah bumi. 3). Mengidentifikasi macam-macam rangkaian acara yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat. penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan verstehen. Menggunakan perspektif teori tindakan sosialyang dikemukakan oleh Max Weber. Lokasi penelitian berada di Dusun Kleteh Desa Randegansari Kecamatan Driyorejo Kabupaten Gresik.  Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan grounded research. Hasil penelitian bahwa terdapat 3 tindakan yang dilakukan  yaitu tindakan instrumental,tindakan berorientasi nilai dan tindakan tradisional.

Abstract

The tradition of almsgiving or tegaldeso is an activity carried on for a period of time by the Kleteh community. Every time they carry out the earth alms tradition every year, the majority of the people of Dusun Kleteh participate in the tradition. Community participation is one action that has a specific purpose in the earth alms tradition event. In connection with the Earth Alms Tradition there are committees that compile a series of events, namely marches, opening and joint prayers, giant cone cone conquest and traditional entertainment namely ludruk. Even though there are many migrant communities in Kleteh sub-village and the majority of the people have converted to industrial functions, the community still maintains the earth alms tradition. The formulation of the problem in this research is how is the rationality of community participation in the earth alms tradition? The purpose of this study are 1). Identifying community participation in earth alms traditions. 2). Identify the purpose of the community in participating in the earth alms tradition event. 3). Identify various kinds of series of events conducted by the community. This research uses qualitative research with Verstehen's approach. Using the perspective of social action theory proposed by Max Weber. The research location was in the Kleteh Hamlet of Randegansari Village, Driyorejo District, Gresik Regency. Data analysis techniques in this study used grounded research. The results of the study that there are 3 actions taken, namely instrumental action, value oriented action and traditional action.
