Peran Grit terhadap Eksplorasi Karier pada Siswa Madrasah Aliyah
Studi yang dilaksanakan mempunyai tujuan dalam mengidentifikasi peran grit terhadap eksplorasi karier pada siswa Madrasah Aliyah. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah masih terbatasnya kajian mengenai faktor psikologis yang memengaruhi eksplorasi karier di lingkungan pendidikan Islam. Studi yang dilaksanakan mempergunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode survei dan desain korelasional, serta analisis regresi sederhana. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 311 siswa kelas XI pada salah satu Madrasah Aliyah di Surabaya yang diambil melalui teknik convenience sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Grit-S (Duckworth & Quinn, 2009) dan Career Exploration Survey (Stumpf et al., 1983). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment dan regresi linier sederhana. Temuan studi mengindikasikan jika grit berperan positif dan signifikan terhadap eksplorasi karier (r = 0,478; p < 0,001). Berarti, kian tinggi tingkat grit siswa, semakin aktif mereka dalam mengeksplorasi pilihan karier. Kontribusi variabel grit terhadap eksplorasi karier sebesar 14,3%.
This study aims to examine the role of grit in career exploration among Madrasah Aliyah students. The background of this research lies in the limited studies addressing psychological factors that influence career exploration within Islamic educational settings. The study employed a quantitative approach with a survey method and a correlational design, analyzed using simple linear regression. The participants were 311 eleventh-grade students from a Madrasah Aliyah in Surabaya, selected through convenience sampling. The instruments used were the Grit-S (Duckworth & Quinn, 2009) and the Career Exploration Survey (Stumpf et al., 1983). Data were analyzed using Pearson Product-Moment correlation and simple linear regression. The findings revealed that grit had a positive and significant role in career exploration (r = 0.478; p < 0.001). This indicates that the higher the students’ grit, the more actively they engage in exploring career options. The contribution of grit to career exploration was 14.3%.
