Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kemampuan mengenal tumbuhan dan fungsi bagian-bagian tumbuhan pada anak Tunagrahita ringan sebagai hambatan utamanya sehingga perlu memberikan pembelajaran menggunakan model Outdoor Learning. Tujuan penelitian ini memberikan pengaruh model Outdoor Learning terhadap kemampuan mengenal tumbuhan dan fungsi bagian-bagian tumbuhan pada Tunagrahita ringan.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif jenis pre ekperiment dan rancangan one grup pre test dab post test dengan subjek penelitian sebayak 6 anak Tunagrahita ringan kelas IV di SLB Siti Hajar Sidoarjo. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon match pairs test.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan Zhitung – 2,20 lebih besar dari Ztabel – 1,96 dengan nilai krisis 5% yang berarti mpdel Outdoor Learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan kemampuan mengenal tumbuhan dan fungsi bagian-bagian tumbuhan pada anak Tunagrahita ringan kelas IV di SLB Siti Hajar Sidoarjo.

This research dilator behind the ability to know plants and the function of parts of plants in children with mild mental retardation is the main obstacle so it is necessary to provide learning using the Outdoor Learning model. The purpose of this study is to influence the Outdoor Learning model on the ability to recognize plants and function of plant parts in mild mental retardation.
The research method used was quantitative type of pre-experiment and design one group pre-test and post-test with research subjects as many as 6 children with mild mental retardation in class IV at SLB Siti Hajar Sidoarjo. The data collection technique uses observation and documentation techniques while the data collection technique uses the Wilcoxon match pairs test.
The results showed that Zhitung - 2.20 was greater than Ztable - 1.96 with a crisis value of 5% which meant that the Outdoor Learning MPDel had an effect on the ability to recognize plants and function of plant parts in mild fourth grade children with mental retardation at Siti Hajar Sidoarjo
