Abstrak. ElectroStatic Precipitator (ESP) adalah salah satu alternatif penangkap debu dengan effisiensi tinggi (mencapai diatas 90%) dan rentang partikel yang didapat cukup besar. Tujuan dari peneltian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pembuatan  prototype ESP, mengetahui cara kerja transformator flyback sebagai penyuplai tegangan tinggi pada prototype ESP dan untuk mengetahui efisiensi prototype ESP pada penangkapan debu limbah industri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental rekayasa. Bentuk fisik keseluruhan dari prototipe electrostatic precipitator dibuat menggunakan bahan dari akrilik, kayu, dan paralon 2 ½ dim. Dari hasil pengujian dan perhitungan efisiensi pada prototipe electrostatic precipitator yang telah dilakukan, Prototipe electrostatic precipitator memiliki efisiensi dengan percobaan 2 gram sebesar 62,20%, 62,23%, 62,27%, 62,29%, 62,33% dan untuk 3 gram sebesar 72,68%, 74,97%, 75,11%, 75,17, 75,18%.

Abstract. Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) is an alternative high-efficiency dust catchers (reaching above 90%) and the particle range obtained is quite large. The research is to design ESP prototype, to find out how the flyback transformer works as a high voltage supplier on the ESP prototype and to determine the efficiency of the ESP prototype in capturing industrial waste dust. This study is used an experimental engineering. The overall physical form of the electrostatic precipitator prototype was making from acrylic, wood, and 2½ dime pipe. The electrostatic precipitator prototype has an efficiency of 2 gram experiment with 62,20%, 62,23%, 62,27%, 62,29%, 62,33%and for 3 gram of 72,68%, 74,97%, 75,11%, 75,17, 75,18%.
