PEMANFAATAN LIMBAH DENIM DENGAN SUMBER IDE BUNGA MAWAR SEBAGAI PEMBUATAN PADA BUSANA PESTA BERKONSEP EXPLOITATION

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk 1)Mendeskripsikan desain bunga mawar yang digunakan dalam busana pesta, 2)Mendeskripsikan proses pembuatan busana pesta dengan sumber ide bunga mawar menggunakan limbah denim. 3)Mendeskripsikan hasil jadi busana pesta menggunakan bahan limbah denim dengan sumber ide bunga mawar yang berkonsep exploitation. Metode yang digunakan Metode Double Diamond Design Process, yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu Discover melakukan tahap mencari ide inspirasi mengenai bunga mawar. Define menentukan sumber ide untuk dijadikan Moodboard, menentukan warna dan hiasan yang digunakan, dan target market. Develop melakukan perancangan desain yang akan dikembangkan, melakukan uji coba hiasan aplikasi, menghasilkan sebuah desain beserta peletakan aplikasi pada busana pesta. Deliver dilakukan penilaian hasil jadi busana pesta dengan inspirasi bunga Mawar. Penelitian dilakukan di lab Tata Busana Universitas Negeri Surabaya pada tahun 2024-2025. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket kuesioner kepada target market usia 18-28 tahun untuk pemilihan desain. Instrumen pengumpulan data dilakukan penyebaran angket hasil jadi pembuatan busana oleh ahli Fashion, dengan skala 1 hingga 5. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif rata-rata.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1)Desain busana dengan sumber ide bunga mawar berbasis limbah denim berhasil diwujudkan dengan konsep Exploitation yang konsisten. 2)Proses pembuatan diawali dengan pengembangan desain menjadi pola, penyusunan moodboard, sketsa, dan pelaksanaan konstruksi busana secara terstruktur hingga tahap penyempurnaan hasil jadi sesuai rancangan. 3) Hasil jadi busana pesta memiliki rata-rata penilaian 4.71 dalam kategori sangat baik berdasarkan aspek siluet, hiasan, warna, dan hasil jadi secara keseluruhan.

The purpose of this study is to 1) Describe the design of roses used in party dresses, 2) Describe the process of making party dresses with the source of rose flower ideas using denim waste. 3) Describe the finished results of party dresses using denim waste materials with the source of rose flower ideas with an exploitation concept. The method used is the Double Diamond Design Process Method, which consists of 4 stages, namely Discover, which is the stage of finding inspirational ideas about roses. Define determines the source of ideas to be used as a Moodboard, determines the colors and decorations used, and the target market. Develop designs the design to be developed, conducts a trial of application decorations, produces a design along with the placement of applications on party dresses. Deliver is an assessment of the finished results of party dresses inspired by roses. The study was conducted at the Fashion Design Lab, Surabaya State University in 2024-2025. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires to the target market aged 18-28 years for design selection. The data collection instrument was carried out by distributing questionnaires on the finished results of making clothes by Fashion experts, with a scale of 1 to 5. The data analysis technique used the average descriptive analysis technique.
The results of the study showed that 1) The fashion design with the idea source of roses based on denim waste was successfully realized with a consistent Exploitation concept. 2) The manufacturing process began with the development of the design into a pattern, the preparation of a moodboard, sketches, and the implementation of structured fashion construction until the stage of perfecting the finished product according to the design. 3) The finished party dress had an average rating of 4.71 in the very good category based on the aspects of silhouette, decoration, color, and overall finished product.
