DEVELOPMENT OF ANIMATED VIDEO MEDIA THROUGH PLOTAGON APPLICATION FOR MATERIAL ON OBEYING RULES IN GRADE I ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Media pembelajaran merupakan aspek yang penting dalam menunjang pembelajaran yang harus disesuaikan dengan karakteristik dan minat peserta didik agar dapat menumbuhkan semangat dalam pembelajaran. Penggunaan media video animasi dalam pembelajaran memberi kesan belajar sambil melihat animasi kesukaan. Selain itu, peserta didik juga dapat merasakan belajar sesuai pengalamannya sendiri dengan menggunakan pendengaran dan penglihatannya secara bersamaan yang dapat memunculkan sikap antusias dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan media dan menghasilkan media video animasi melalui aplikasi Plotagon untuk materi mematuhi peraturan dengan kriteria yang valid,praktis,dan efektif.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian pengembangan (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate). Subjek penelitian ini yaitu kelas I di SDN Ngagelrejo I/396 Surabaya. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi, angket, dan soal pretest-posttest.
Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu 1) media video animasi dinilai “sangat valid” dengan perolehan validasi materi 85% dan validasi media 85,41%; 2) media video animasi dinilai “sangat praktis” dengan angket uji coba skala kecil 96,25% dan uji coba skala besar 95,18%, serta angket guru mencapai 90%; 3) media dinyatakan efektif berdasarkan peningkatan pretest-posttest uji coba skala kecil diperoleh nilai n-gain 0,65 “sedang” dan uji coba skala besar diperoleh nilai 0,75 “tinggi”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang didapatkan, maka media video animasi melalui aplikasi Plotagon untuk materi mematuhi peraturan di kelas I sekolah dasar dapat dinyatakan layak untuk diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran.

Learning media is an important aspect in supporting learning that must be tailored to the characteristics and interests of students in order to foster enthusiasm in learning. The use of animated video media in learning gives the impression of learning while seeing favorite animations. In addition, students can also feel learning according to their own experience by using their hearing and vision simultaneously which can create an enthusiastic attitude in learning. This study aims to describe the media development process and produce animated video media through the Plotagon application for obeying the rules with valid, practical, and effective criteria.
The type of research used is development research (R&D) using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The subject of this research is class I at SDN Ngagelrejo I/396 Surabaya. The research instruments used were validation sheets, questionnaires, and pretest-posttest questions.
The results obtained are 1) animated video media is rated "very valid" with the acquisition of material validation 85% and media validation 85.41%; 2) animated video media is rated "very practical" with a small-scale trial questionnaire 96.25% and a large-scale trial 95.18%, and teacher questionnaires reached 90%; 3) the media is declared effective based on the increase in pretest-posttest small-scale trials obtained an n-gain value of 0.65 "medium" and large-scale trials obtained a value of 0.75 "high". Based on the research results obtained, the animated video media through the Plotagon application for the material of obeying the rules in grade I elementary school can be declared feasible to be implemented in learning.
