Pengembangan Media "Wayang Batar" Materi Sifat-sifat Bangun Datar Bagi Peserta Didik Kelas III Sekolah Dasar

Rendahnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dan kurangnya inovasi dalam penyampaian materi di kelas, khususnya dalam pembelajaran matematika materi bangun datar, menjadikan peserta didik merasa bosan dan kurang antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran matematika. Selain itu, kurangnya pengenalan wayang kepada anak-anak dan tontonan anak-anak zaman sekarang yang tidak sesuai dengan usianya, menyebabkan rendahnya wawasan dan pengetahuan anak mengenai wayang. Adanya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses pengembangan media pembelajaran “Wayang Batar” dan mengukur tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran “Wayang Batar” dalam pembelajaran matematika. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian pengembangan (research and development) dengan menerapkan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi media, lembar validasi materi dan angket peserta didik sebanyak 21 anak. Berdasarkan penelitian pengembangan yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil validasi media sebesar 96,1% dan validasi materi sebesar 100%. Kelayakan media melalui angket peserta didik memperoleh nilai sebesar 91,4% berdasarkan daya tarik media dan 87,8% berdasarkan daya serap media. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran “Wayang Batar” dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match valid dan layak, serta sangat menarik dan sangat mudah dipahami untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika materi bangun datar kelas III sekolah dasar.

The low utilization of teaching tools and the lack of innovation in delivering material in class, especially in learning mathematics, make students feel bored and less enthusiastic in participating in mathematics learning. In addition, the lack of introduction to wayang to children and the spectacle of today's children are not appropriate for their age, causing children's low insight and knowledge about wayang. The existence of this study aims to explain the process of developing teaching tools "Wayang Batar" and measure the feasibility level of teaching tools "Wayang Batar" in learning mathematics. This type of research is research and development by applying the ADDIE model which consists of stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The research instrument in data collection used media validation sheets, material validation sheets and student questionnaires as many as 21 childrens. Based on the development research that has been carried out, the results of media validation are 96.1% and material validation is 100%. The feasibility of the media through student questionnaires scored 91.4% based on media attractiveness and 87.8% based on media absorption. Thus, it can be concluded that the teaching tools "Wayang Batar" with the cooperative learning model of the make a match type is valid and feasible, and is very interesting and very easy to understand to be applied in learning mathematics to grade III elementary school flat shapes.
