Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan permasalahan, karateristik, dan solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan Executive Functioning pada individu disleksia dewasa.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tahapan penelitian ini dimulai dengan penentuan fokus dari penelitian ini adalah permasalahan, solusi dan karatristik Executif Functioning yang dialami individu disleksia, pengumpulan data yang didapatkan dari 2 individu disleksia, pengolah data dengan teknik interactive model Miles dan Huberman, mendiskripsikan dan membahas hasil penelitian, pemeriksaan keabsahan data dengan triangulasi sumber, teknik dan waktu, dan memberikan hasil laporan.
Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa individu disleksia mengalami permasalahan pada executive functioning dengan berbagai karateristik yaitu; pemahaman diri sendiri, kemampuan mengorganisasi, kontrol perilaku, kontrol emosi, kemampuan manajemen waktu, fleksibilitas, working memory, inisiatif, perhatian, dan persistence sehingga memerlukan coping strategy yang tepat untuk mengatasinya.

This research purpose was to describe the problems, characteristics, and solution to solve the Executive Functioning problem to the adult dyslexia.
The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. This research step was begun by determining the focuses of this research i.e. the problems, characteristics, and the solution of Executive Functioning which was experienced by the dyslexia individual, the data collection which was obtained from 2 dyslexia individuals, the data processor with the interactive technique of Miles and Huberman model, to describe and discuss the research result, checking the data validity with triangulation source, technique and time, and giving the report.
The result findings indicated that the dyslexia individual experienced some problems in the Executive Functioning with various characteristics i.e. the organizing ability, behavior control, emotion control, time management ability, working memory, initiative, attention, and persistence so that it required coping strategy to solve them such as making activity planning, assignment list, alarm reminder, anger matter / anger rule, and asking other people help to remind.
