SOME NEW GENERALIZATIONS OF FIXED-POINT THEOREM ON THE EXTENDED B-METRIC SPACE

Banyak penelitian sudah membahas dan mengembangkan teorema terkait ketunggalan titik tetap suatu fungsi pada berbagai perluasan ruang metrik, salah satunya pada ruang metrik-b. Pada artikel ini, penulis akan mencoba mempermumum suatu teorema titik tetap pada ruang metrik-b yang dikembangkan oleh Agrawal, dkk[2] pada ruang metrik yang lebih luas, yaitu ruang-metrik-b extended. Dimana ruang metrik-b extended adalah perluasan dari ruang metrik-b. Selanjutnya, penulis akan berusaha membangun bentuk lain dari teorema ketunggalan titik tetap suatu fungsi pada ruang metrik-b extended. Sehingga hasil dari pembahasan artikel ini adalah satu teorema yang merupakan perumuman dari teorema titik tetap pada [2] pada ruang metrik-b extended, dan dua bentuk teorema titik tetap yang lain pada ruang metrik-b extended.

Many studies have discussed and developed theorems related to the uniqueness of a fixed point of a function in various generalization of metric spaces, one of which is in the b-metric space. In this article, the author will try to generalize a fixed point theorem on the b-metric space developed by Agrawal, et al[2] in a wider metric space, namely the extended b-metric space. The extended b-metric space is an extension of the b-metric space. Then, the writer will try to build another form of the fixed point uniqueness theorem of a function in the extended b-metric space. So that the result of the discussion in this article is one theorem which is a generalization of the fixed point theorem in [2] in the extended b-metric space, and two other forms of the fixed point theorem in the extended b-metric space.
