EVALUATION OF ENERGY CONSUMPTION IN COMPRESSOR OPERATION OF LP-3121 NPU PERTAMINA HULU MAHAKAM USING ENERGY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR TYPE ENGINEERING MODEL BASE ON ISO 50006
Recently, climate change has occurred due to the increasing effect of greenhouse gases. The source of greenhouse gas emissions is dominated by the use of fossil energy. Oil and Gas companies are one of the largest sources of fossil energy users. For this reason, a research method is needed to analyze the use of fossil energy which is useful for evaluating energy consumption.
This research uses a method of analyzing energy consumed, energy used in Oil and Gas company equipment, namely Gas Turbine Compressors, using Energy Management standard guidelines to determine measurements of energy performance improvement using Energy Baseline (EnB) as an energy reference and Energy Performance Indicators (EnPI) based on ISO 50006 with Engineering model type. The method used in this research is the linear regression analysis method to determine the load value for energy consumption. This thesis determines which operating parameters have factors that must be considered by reviewing 4 variations, namely Tdischarge, Tsuction, Zfactor (Compressibility) and Specific Gravity. This research analysis aims to find out what operating parameters determine the energy performance of the LP-3121 Compressor components working optimally.
The results of this research use the energy consumption equation obtained from Linear Regression y=0.2931x+0.152. From the fourth result, the variation that is more concerned is Tdischarge because the CP results obtained are greater, the smallest value is 371.78 Lbf.ft/lbm and the largest is 372.64 Lbf.ft/lbm which makes the polytropic efficiency decrease from 0.91 to 0, 62 and Aerodynamic Gas Power (KW) increased from the smallest 7082.69 KW to 11,083.14 KW. The energy consumption value is increasingly wasteful and the cumulative energy waste is 8861,529 MMBTU or a loss of IDR 797,537,617.
