THE EFFECT OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE ON COMPANY PERFORMANCE

Kinerja lingkungan perusahaan dapat dilihat melalui PROPER (Program Penilaian Peringkat Kinerja Perusahaan). Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh kinerja lingkungan dan Corporate Governance pada Kinerja perusahaan. Data yang digunakan diperoleh dari perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar dalam sektor industri dasar dan kimia serta aneka industri tahun 2012-2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja perusahaan dipengaruhi oleh kinerja lingkungan dan Corporate Governance baik secara parsial maupun simultan.

The company's environmental performance can be seen from the PROPER rating which consists of 5 categories. The focus of the study is to examine the effect of environmental performance and Corporate Governance on company performance. The data used is obtained from manufacturing company publications such as financial reports and annual reports over the period  2012-2018 in the basic and chemical industry sectors and various industries sectors. Obtained 63 research data with purposive sampling method. Researchers use non-participant observation methods and the tool used for the test is SPSS 22 with multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that environmental performance has an effect on company performance, while Corporate Governance has no influence on the performance.
