Penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan Buku Ajar Siswa Berbasis Pendekatan Saintifik Pada Mata Pelajaran Humas dan Keprotokolan Semester Genap Kelas XI MP. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan Buku Ajar Siswa, kelayakan Buku Ajar Siswa, dan respon siswa kelas XI MP di SMK Negeri 1 Boyolangu terhadap Buku Ajar Siswa yang dikembangkan. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan R&D (Research end Development), dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D dari Thiagarajan, Semmel, dan Semmel yang mempunyai empat (4) tahapan yaitu define, design, develop, disseminate. Pada tahapan disseminate tidak dilakukan karena penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengembangkan produk dan penelitian ini juga tidak melalui tahapan eksperimen. Penelitian ini diuji cobakan pada 18 orang siswa kelas XI MP 4 di SMK Negeri 1 Boyolangu, dengan hasil respon siswa memperoleh skor sebesar 99% dengan kriteria interpretasi sangat baik. Hasil dari validasi kelayakan Buku Ajar Siswa secara keseluruhan memperoleg skor 86,4%, dengan validasi materi sebesar 78,7% , validasi bahasa 88,57%, dan validasi kegrafikan 100%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Buku Ajar Siswa berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada mata pelajaran Humas dan Keprotokolan semester genap kelas XI MP di SMK Negeri 1 Boyolangu layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dan dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

This development research produces a Student Textbook Based On Scientific Approach the Subject of Public Relations and Protocol Second Semester of Class XI MP. The purpose of this research are to know the development process of Student Textbook, feasibility of Student Textbook, and response from student class XI MP in SMK Negeri 1 Boyolangu of Students Textbook that has been developed. The research use R&D (Research and Development), with 4-D development model from Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel that has four (4) stages are define, design, develop, disseminate. At the stage disseminate was included, the research to develop a products and the research too didn’t include the stages of the experiment. The research was tested on 18 students of class XI MP 4 at SMK Negeri 1 Boyolangu, with the results of responses from student got a score of 99% with a very good interpretation criteria. The results of the feasibility validation Student Textbook overall got a score of 86.4%, with the validation of the  material got a score of 78.7%, the validation of  the language got a score 88.57%, and the validation of  the graphic got a score 100%. It can be concluded that the Student Textbook based on scientific approach on the subjects of Public Relations and Protocol second semester of class XI MP at SMK 1 Boyolangu was declared feasible to be used as teaching material and can be used in the learning process.
