Pasunda Hepta Nada is an extracurricular choir at MAN 2 Madiun City, and is
one of the OSIS sub-organizations that was established on February 1 2012 and
is a female choir type choir group. In the choral extracurricular learning
process at MAN 2 Madiun City, Pasunda Hepta Nada implemented two practice
sessions, where the first session was used as a general choir practice session,
and the second session was used as a solo vocal practice session which was an
attempt by the coach to improve the participants' singing abilities. educate.
The learning model used in choral extracurricular learning at MAN 2 Madiun City
is the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model, where this
learning model emphasizes teamwork that includes all students in one class in
receiving material provided by coach. The purposes of this study include (1)
explaining what components of the exercise are used in choral extracurricular
learning at MAN 2 Madiun City, (2) explaining the training methods used in the
choir extracurricular learning process at MAN 2 Madiun City, and ( 3) describe
the learning outcomes of students after undergoing the training process using
the training method.
The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. Data
collection was carried out using non-participant observation techniques, structured
interviews, distributing questionnaires, and taking documentation in the form
of photos and videos, as well as documents about Pasunda Hepta Nada and MAN 2
Madiun City. The data that has been collected is analyzed using reduction
techniques, then conclusions are drawn and important matters are recorded, and
then data validity is carried out using source, technique, and time
triangulation techniques.
The results of the
study show that the learning components used in choir extracurricular learning
at MAN 2 Madiun City can be said to be complete and in accordance with the
standard learning components. The learning components include educators,
students, learning objectives, learning media, learning strategies, training
methods, and evaluation. The demonstration method and drill method used in the
routine training process have proven to be effective in training students'
singing abilities because both methods have their respective roles in training
certain vocal techniques. The learning outcomes of students emphasize the
psychomotor aspects where the skills of students in applying good vocal
techniques after undergoing the training process are very concerned about their
development.
