MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL BENTUK GEOMETRI
MELALUI GEOMETRIC GAME DI TK ANANDA SURABAYA
IMPROVING THE ABILITY TO RECOGNIZE GEOMETRIC SHAPES
THROUGH GEOMETRIC GAMES AT ANANDA KINDERGARTEN
SURABAYA
Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Ananda Kecamatan Semampir Surabaya
karena permasalahan terkait kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri anak masih
rendah dan perlu meningkatkan, baik metode pembelajaran dari guru dan media
yang digunakan. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi
efektivitas kegiatan mengenal bentuk geometri melalui geometric game dalam
meningkatkan aktivitas guru, aktivitas anak, serta kemampuan anak dalam
meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri anak usia dini. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dari siklus 1 ke
siklus 2. aktivitas guru mencapai 52%, aktivitas anak mencapai 55%, dan
kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri menggunakan media pembelajaran
geometric game mencapai 53%. Hasil ini mencerminkan tantangan yang dihadapi
dalam proses kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri. Pada siklus 2 hasil
observasi menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dengan aktivitas guru
mencapai 70%, aktivitas anak mencapai 71%, dan kemampuan mengenal bentuk
geometri menggunakan media pembelajaran geometric game mencapai 79%.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini dapat
disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri pada anak usia 5-6
tahun di TK Ananda Surabaya dapat ditingkatkan melalui geometric game
menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan
menyenangkan sangat penting dalam kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri
kepada anak-anak. Melalui evaluasi berkelanjutan dan penyesuaian strategi
pengajaran berdasarkan teori-teori pendidikan yang relevan, diharapkan
perkembangan kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri pada anak-anak usia 5-6
tahun di TK Ananda dapat terus meningkat

This research was conducted at Ananda Kindergarten, Semampir District,
Surabaya because the problem related to children's ability to recognize geometric
shapes is still low and needs to be improved, both in terms of learning methods
from teachers and the media used. The research conducted aims to evaluate the
effectiveness of activities to recognize geometric shapes through geometric games
in increasing teacher activity, child activity, and children's ability in improving
the ability to recognize geometric shapes in early childhood. The results of the
study showed a significant increase from cycle 1 to cycle 2. Teacher activity
reached 52%, children's activity reached 55%, and the ability to recognize
geometric shapes using geometric game learning media reached 53%. These
results reflect the challenges faced in the process of recognizing geometric
shapes. In cycle 2, the observation results showed a significant increase with
teacher activity reaching 70%, children's activity reaching 71%, and the ability to
recognize geometric shapes using geometric game learning media reaching 79%.
Based on the results of the study and discussion in this study, it can be concluded
that the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 5-6 years at
Ananda Kindergarten Surabaya can be improved through geometric games,
indicating that the application of more interactive and fun learning methods is
very important in the ability to recognize geometric shapes to children. Through
continuous evaluation and adjustment of teaching strategies based on relevant
educational theories, it is hoped that the development of the ability to recognize
geometric shapes in children aged 5-6 years at Ananda Kindergarten can
continue to increase
